  1. MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!!
  2. "Two patients noticed a substantial improvement (90% and 95%) in their attacks; three patients noticed a moderate improvement (40%, 60%, and 20–80%) and one reported mild improvement (25%). Improvements occurred in both frequency and severity of attacks." I don't know. Call me a wet rag, but these figures don't (and didn't) make me optimistic about long term results. Bobb
  3. The Lancet article was too big to upload to this site??? > PM me with your email addy T, and I will send it to you. Bob
  4. LMAO!!! That's too funny T!!!!! ;D ;D ;D Maybe LeeAnn can doctor up Dan's tank for him. ;D

  6. I act irrational from time to time, but I don't think it has much to do with CH. I tend to be very impatient, especially with others, and act out totally irrationally as a result. :D > > :D
  7. Scroll to the top of this page. You will see a bunch of tabs. Click on the "User CP" (control panel) tab. Click on the "Profile" tab on the left. Click on "Options" under that. This should bring up your "Edit my Profile > Options" page. (You may have to sign in again with your password.) Under "Post and Board Notifications:" look for "Notify me of new Notifications by eMail." Click on the drop-down menu and select "Yes" to have all new posts sent to you by email. The emails will contain a clickable link to take you to the new post.
  8. Great post Jerry. Best, Bob
  9. And I'm betting that you hope you stay the only winner of your family Joe. bobb
  10. Be aware that grinders, like most coffee grinders spin way to fast, and thus heat the seed pulp. Heat is LSA's enemy. The hammer method you were using is probably the best, short of a mortar and pestle.
  11. Hi Hopeful, and welcome to our forum. I'm sorry that you had the need to find us, but glad that you did. The information you will find here will be immensely invaluable to you and Adam. As with all forums, you need to disseminate the information you find here. For example, some swear by Imitrex (or Imitran), but others of us have had some bad experiences with this triptan. There is scant evidence, as you can read from my attachment, but there is a consensus that it causes rebounds and may extend a cycle. Oxygen is by far your best and safest abortive. If you mouse over the "Menu" button at the top left hand side of this page, you can click on "ch.com Oxygen Page" and find all you need to know about what you will need and how to use 02. As others have said, read about the alternatives under "Clusterbusters Files," and ask all the questions you want. That's what we are here for. You may not get an answer right away (especially on weekends), but someone will be along who can answer any questions you may have. Best, Bob Subcutaneous_Sumatriptan_and_rebounds.pdf
  12. Yes, although there are exceptions. Check out Becky v's thread, "I should be grateful" under "Share Your Busting Stories." Usually, but everyone is different. What works for one, may not work for the next. Sorry, but I can't remember where your daughter is in her busting. If she has had one or two doses without any significant pain free time, then I would say, yes go ahead and give the psilo a try. Yes, absolutely.
  13. Thanks Weatherman! That's exactly what one of our members (Xeno on this board) did. He retired to Ajijic. I was there visiting him, I believe from March to April and didn't see a drop of rain the whole four weeks I was there. I understand that it was their hottest time of the year. Temps were in the mid to upper 80's -- not at all uncomfortable. Xeno did a presentation at the Clusterbusters Conference in Austin about this phenomenon. He titled it, "Changes in Latitude, Changes in Attitude." :D
  14. Some blessings come in disguises. Not saying........just saying.
  15. Way cool! I'm looking forward to meeting you guys.
  16. Hey Weatherman! Do me a favor and check out the weather and pressure for Ajijic, MX. After a 4 week stay in the area a few years ago, this chronic went pain free for 6 months, even after coming back to the Atlanta area.
  17. Several years ago I was convinced that barometric pressure must have been triggering my headaches. With the help of a little software program, I actually recorded the pressure and the direction it was going for every hit in my diary for a couple of months. The results were inconclusive. :-/
  18. What's an orgy??? ;D Get some sleep.
  19. Hang in there Sis! BTW, who is in the threesome???
  20. That's great Jimi! You probably don't remember, but I met you at NashCon.....what, six years ago? You made quite an impression on me then, and I have had great respect for you ever since. The fact that you are still so active with a disease that you have been in a remission period for a decade, speaks volumes about your character. I don't know if you subscribe to the genetic factor in CH, but with two brothers diagnosed ECH, I sure do. Although I am not completely PF, as a diagnosed intractible primary chronic that thankfully only gets one or two extremely mild hits weekly, I try to remain active on this board simply because I think it the best hope for the future with CH. I know that you agree that the last thing we want to see is our children or grandchildren suffer from this excruciating disease. Best, bobb
