  1. By caring enough to research CH for you, she may have found an answer to her migraines.
  2. lol... Brings to mind a little ditty by The Bellamy Brothers...
  3. So, have you tried oxygen yet or not? If you get the right set-up, oxygen will be your best friend.

    shadows?

I turned down the surgery option years ago. lol I became pro-active and have never looked back. Although still technically chronic, for the past two plus years, I have only had to endure 1 to 3 low level hits per week. When I do get one, it is always in the evening around 8:00 to 10:00, and easily aborted with 02. In fact, they are so mild as to be hard to even classify as CH, except for the ipsilateral rhinorrhea and lacrimation (one sided runny nose and tears). I can easily skip the 02 and put up with the mild discomfort. Before becoming pro-active, I suffered between 3 to 5 high kippers daily, averaging 2 to 3 hours each. So maybe now you can see why I now feel that I have my life back. Bob

    shadows?

Maybe so, but it's all I have ever known. I was diagnosed chronic from day 1 over ten years ago. Within a couple of years, I was diagnosed with refractory CCH, and surgery was the next alternative offered to me. It was the catalyst that made me pro-active as I turned to the internet for answers. Clusterheadaches.com led me to Clusterbusters, and the rest is pretty much history. Although I am not completely CH free, I now feel that I have control of my life, instead of CH having control. Read what tommyD posted under "Cluterbusters Files." Bob
  6. I couldn't agree any more Steve. TommyD, you are the man! Best, Bobb
  7. lol...just because I'm old and still have a good libido doesn't necessarily mean that I'm a dirty old man, now does it Dan? Guilty as charged! 8-)

Have a Clusterbusters rockin' holiday! http://sendables.jibjab.com/view/DC10J5qOPHMjeHvr
  9. Absolutely! Either a good non-rebreather mask or a mouthpiece. Click on the "Menu" tab at the upper left hand side of this page. Educate yourself. Most docs including neurologists, will not know this much about o2.
  10. I'd like to add "intelligent people's disease" too. As you once said Xeno, "I'd love to start a business and hire nothing but clusterheads." I think it would have to be a success.
  11. Wow! Thanks Ben mate for the link! Bob, you never cease to amaze me with the way you are able to convey our malady and treatments to others! I love you bro. BobB

  13. In the mid 70's I lived in Miami. We used to go to a cow pasture outside Ft. Lauderdale to pick shrooms. This guy I worked with from California (married to a gorgeous girl from Sweden) had never tried psilo. He was one of those people that just seemed to always have his act together, no matter what life threw at him. After asking me to pick him some shrooms, I gave him about 20 or so. I told him to be careful and that he shouldn't take more than 2 or 3. I don't know if they used all of them or not, but his wife made spaghetti with them. I ran into him later that night, and his pupils looked like saucers. He told me about eating the spaghetti and said that it was all great fun until the walls of their apartment started to melt. He said he knew he had to get out of there, but when he opened the door to their apartment, he literally shit his pants. He said it was quite an ordeal trying to clean himself up. Just goes to show, no matter how much you have your shit together, it can all come undone in a moment. ;D
  14. I know this can be a CH trigger for many and I believe that for some CHer's the activity following this can be a trigger, too. Sorry about blowing your cover Xeno. ;D
  15. As am I. Psst Xeno...you aren't as old as you think you are.
  16. Xeno, you are incorrigible to the extent of being Sisyphean. But I still love you.
  17. You just said a mouthful Napoli! We have all been through that feeling of being powerless with CH. The more weapons you have, the more you start to take back your life. You will know that you've really turned the corner when you start feeling that you are in control of your CH, and not the other way around. Bob
  18. Hey MJ! I think you bring up a very legitimate point. As you know, the consensus to wait 5 days between doses comes from years of anecdotal research, which could of course be construed as "group think." Although it has no direct bearing on me since I am no longer busting, you got my attention with your first "taper" post on another thread. I hope that more try your method so that we can get some good anecdotal evidence on your theory. I know that there are many, including me that don't care for the hallucinogenic aspects of busting, and your method would all but eliminate that. The fact that we have found success with BOL, in my mind, promotes your regimen. Thanks so much for all of your contributions on these boards! Bob
  19. TakinitEZ, You might want to check out Christine's thread. She is another that had ONS. http://www.clusterheadaches.com/cb/cgi-bin/yabb2/YaBB.pl?num=1278639620

    New guy

The short answer is no. Unless you work for the DEA or in some other capacity that would be sensitive to 'all drugs', it is far too costly for companies to test for hallucinogens. Are you a truck driver? If so, I can tell you from personal experience that you have nothing to worry about for the reason listed above. alley
  21. Great news! [smiley=thumbsup.gif]
