Stijn Posted January 27 Posted January 27 Hi, Some of you may be aware I did some research into the timings of CH cycles and remember that it is connected to solar cycles. Recently, it has become more and more obvious that the intensity of CH attacks "peak" whenever the Sun transitions from one sign into the next - whether this be in the sidereal or the tropical zodiac. If around the same day, the Sun is also "afflicted" by certain other planets, the effect is even stronger. In regards to this, I want to make a "forecast" for later this year. Anyone in a cycle around that time, beware of MAY 14-15 2025. The reason: around the middle of May, the Sun will be Ingressing into sidereal Taurus (sensitive point of transition), On top of that, Mars will also be in parallel to the Sun (affliction). 1 1 Quote
Stijn Posted January 28 Author Posted January 28 @AlvaroYou're laughing? Academic research has shown that CH attacks have a circannual rhythm. You mentioned that in 2022 you had a few CH attacks around January 3rd, 4th, if I'm correct? There were 2 solar influences around that date: The Earth was at perihelion - its closest point to the Sun. Mars was at the same parallel to the Sun (see picture attached). If you wish, I'm always happy to take a closer look at your personal cycles. Send me a dm Stijn Quote
Alvaro Posted January 29 Posted January 29 Thanks Stijn. Of course the circannual cycle and the corresponding change of the circadian cycles over the year has a connection with CH, with the hypothalamus being most definitely connected to it all. Zodiac signs and the other planets' apparent position relative to the sun in the sky are a whole different thing. A laughable thing in my opinion, hence the laughing emoji. If I have to explain why, you probably already drank too much of the cool aid and there is little I can do for you. Anyway, hope you are CH-free and continue to be so. Cheers Quote
LostCity Posted February 10 Posted February 10 Just wanted to chime in and say this condition is truly confusing and so bizarre. I wish it had more research and funding. I want to get to the bottom of why we suffer from this, why weather patterns play a role, why sleep is affected, etc. I have so many damn questions about this bloody disorder.. Quote
Stijn Posted May 13 Author Posted May 13 Instead of debating the issue. Let’s see what happens this Wednesday and Thursday. To anyone in a cycle right now: it would be helpful if you could give us feedback and share here if you’re indeed experiencing a rise in intensity of CH attacks during these days. 1 Quote
xBoss Posted May 13 Posted May 13 I'm in cycle right now and I have had it fairly easy for the last week so if I get some bangers on those days I will let you know. 1 Quote
Alx Posted May 14 Posted May 14 I’m in the fifth week of this cluster and last weeks have been hell. if it gets even worse today or tomorrow I will report.(I hope not 1 Quote
FunTimes Posted May 15 Posted May 15 No change in my clusters so far this week at all due to earth wind or fire. See you on the dark side of the moon! 2 Quote
Alx Posted May 16 Posted May 16 Same here. No real changes in frequency or intensity. Stijn ,Can you tell us what you expected to happen? Quote
xBoss Posted May 16 Posted May 16 I did pretty good through this period but the cycle has been ramping down for a while now. 3 Quote

Hi, I expected there to be a peak in intensity in CH. From studying records of CH patients, I noticed peaks corresponding to the dates when the Sun changes signs, and even more so if it is afflicted at the same time. In this case (mid May), it was afflicted by Mars. But this time, people didn't experience any noticeable peak, so I need to look deeper into it. 1 Quote

Stijn Posted June 30 Author Posted June 30 In the tradition of the old “Almanac” makers, I thought it might be nice to create a “Medical Almanac” that looks at the sensitive times for (cluster)headaches. As a first publication, it starts modestly, and covers only the second half of 2025 (July-December). It shares the research and the theory behind it and marks the collective dates when one may - or may not - experience peaks in intensity. If you’re interested, whether to check if there’s any corresondence with your own CH peaks, or just curious to see what the hell this is all about, get in touch by pm and I’ll send you a pdf copy (free).
