  1. Thank you all so much for your ongoing support, I used to be on 7lpm before(which was standard in my country) but now I'm on 10lpm. Perhaps the outcome might be better with a higher flow around 15lpm, but I would listen to my doctor for now and stick with 10lpm as it's still producing positive effects and helping me ease the pain (I'm female and very small so maybe that's why). And as CHfather pointed out, it was my supplier who picked up the tank size. Apologies for the miscommunication! I'm able to keep a few tanks at home so the size is not a problem for me at this moment but again, thanks to you all for the helpful suggestions.

  3. Being CHH does suck but like Jon said it is more like high and low cycles within it. I am stuck in a higher cycle at the moment and it really blows. Going through 02 tanks like they are goin out of style and due to some sort of oxygen shortage in this area I was just limited to what I can get refilled so a little added pressure and panic is starting to set in. Sticking with 02, 5hr drinks and Frankincense oil on the roof of my mouth and hopping that this ends soon. On the up side I do not have to sit around dreading any certain moth or time of year when the hits are going to start coming. I have the joy of knowing I am going to get hit in the side of the head with a brick every day!

  4. There is an upside, no guessing when you’re going to get hit.

  5. Jeebs, cold and I will try to kill whatever is close by!! Hubs barely survived!!! Hot on the lower parts. As it cools. add more hot. By the end of the hit, it could be waist deep and I was a lobster!!! But, the hit was gone.

  6. Yer a smart man! Lmao! She has several different cuts on YouTube....although it isn't a genre that I would normally listen to, this one is really good, she has a cool solo in it, she really shows off how good lookin she is....and shit the bed Loretta, does that girl ever have some legs!! Ray Charles is one of my heroes as well....I'm a die hard classic country music fan so really got to know him when he started recording country songs and then he did the album with Willie Nelson whose another idol if mine and I fell in love with his style!! Like Willie, his timing was uniquely his!

  10. @Shaun brearley....love the Cody Jinks cut!!! Those guys are almost "hometown boys" to me as I lived in the Dallas-Fort Worth area for over 40 years and it sounded like most of em were from near there!! I am the original "hippie cowboy" and played and sang on stage for many years wearing pointy boots, wrangler jeans, and a stetson with my long hair and beard! Lol! Dallas Denny

  11. Thank you for that explanation. I guess I've been confused about episodic vs chronic
    1 point
  12. ...just note that chronic does not necessarily mean constant or increased number of hits. my experience: 23 yrs ECH (5-8 wks on/off), then 12+ CCH with high and low cycles within that. hit times were unpredictable with 0-3/dy. intensity less, aborts (mainly O2/energy drinks) worked better. still "twilight zone" but different episode. use the same tools you are learning....be willing to adjust. ...to answer your original question. there were several of the past few yrs where the shadow was near constant, because a hit is rare i actually got almost used to it....no choice as caffeine/O2/ginger no help). i'd zoot a zomig ns every once in a while when it got tiring....

  13. Yes, yes, yes!!!! Great solution! I would definitely pursue that option. She can state that due to your condition and location, this is an imperative for you. Run the D3 Regimen past her and see what you get there too! Since she is aware and helping CHers now, I suspect that she will approve it, perhaps with some limitations. Being a woman, she definitely understands the need for calcium and D to prevent osteoporosis. Please show her the protocol and see what she thinks. It does have an amazing track record.

  14. Kmel2, I am so delighted for you!! O2 can make life much better with CH. Now you have a top line abort method on hand!!

  15. How many have they given you , As CHF has said you could really do with the larger M or H tanks as the E tanks only last for 20mins i get an hout out of my H tanks . Ive managered to get my oxygen nurse to prescribe me 5 H tanks and 5 E tanks so im not on the o2 supplier all the time . Make life a litte easier

  16. Good going, kmel' !!!! Just as a small note, I think it's rare for a prescription to specify tank size, so it seems most likely to me that the supplier has decided to give you E tanks. A bigger tank (M or H) is a lot more convenient for you and for the delivery people, at least if your cycle is going to last a while. You might check on what they'll give you. Ideally, an E for portability and one of the bigger ones for at-home use (at least one of each type -- with regulators and at least one mask). What you have might work out just fine, of course. So pleased that you got it doone!

  17. ...hmmm...thinking partial for blood flow diversion. i had access to a walk-in -20 F cold storage... and it always pissed me off that it never stopped a hit, just cooled off the hot flash that always came along....
