Last I heard it's at the Bomba Shack. 8-)

Well you're officially drafted into the message board house band "The Fuster Cluckers" now Scott (Um, if you hadn't been already and I missed it). Hipshot provided the band name, which is clearly pure genius. 8-)

Sorry I don't know the answer to that, I just know that people have been reporting relief when taking it all in one dose per day, and that since vitamin D3 is fat soluble it needs to be taken with food or drink that includes some kind of fat content. -

Whether it's the busts or the D3 or both, YES YES YES that is genuinely NIFTY! -
Hi Kika - there are folks here with more experience than me, but I'll go ahead and take a shot at some of your questions anyway while we await the experts. If it was me, I'd order RC seeds and take them ASAP (you could be busting with them in just a couple days), and also start growing mushrooms (for sort of a backup) ASAP. Now, if you were able to get mushrooms sooner than later without having to actually wait for them to grow, I'd go for those as a first choice. That's because mushrooms have worked better for me than RC, and they seem more powerful to me. That's not the case with everyone though, so some personal trial and error may be necessary. As far as the actual experience is concerned - this is how it has broken down for me: RC: With 50 of them before bed I sleep better than usual and hardly notice a thing, except for about 60 seconds of nausea. Mushrooms: 1.5 grams and I trip like a futhermucker. I may be kind of a lightweight/cheap date. ;D LSD: The experience is extremely similar to mushrooms for me - it just goes on and on and lasts almost twice as long as mushrooms.

Count me in as also overwhelmed by this story. Wow - THANK YOU for sharing that Alex, and I too hope to meet you one day on your world travels. Ugh. Well I hope that sort of discouragement of the use of natural preventatives and strict promotion of toxic ones will be occurring less and less at OUCH as the word gets out.Â

Or maybe hopping on a plane today to St. Thomas - the Bomba shack - is something to look into.....? http://www.clusterheadaches.com/cb/cgi-bin/yabb2/YaBB.pl?num=1297450426

Common Threads of CH Sufferers
Bejeeber replied to Tuckerman48's topic in Research & Scientific News
My CH started 30+ years ago. Amount of cavities/fillings I've had in my lifetime: Zero. I've been clocked on the noggin purty good though as a kid. I know some CHers have a knee jerk response that "it's a defective hypothalamus - head trauma has nothing to do with it". To which I have to think "yoohoo! head trauma can cause the hypothalamus to become defective". -
Personality Changes with Psychedelic Use

You may have to just change your forum name from hipshot to STONER. Hey I just noticed that above your name it says you are a "God member". And now I'm seeing the same for a couple other choice veterans like Bonkers and Alley oop. God, not gold? ;D Didn't realize that y'all are some kind of saints. Well except for Ron - I knew for sure Ron's a saint. -
Seems unlikely to me. I've seen reports though of those who had their CH go into remission during their years of "recreational" hallucinogen use, only to realize when it came back afterwards that is was likely the hallucinogens that had kept the CH at bay.

Have you had the surgery Carol? if so, how'd it go? -
Hi Christin, Being glad to see you're not alone is a common sentiment when folks first arrive here, then that often gives way to "glad I found out how to get some relief!". Please stay with us here and I'll be looking forward to reports of both your mom and yourself finding significant relief. In the meantime, today, assuming you don't immediately have your O2, you could always try the harmless "put your nose up to the blasting car air conditioner vent and deeply breathe the freezing air" trick at onset of an attack. This will abort an attack for some of us some of the time, as can extremely vigorous exercise - as in sprint all out 'til you drop. And feel free to bring your ice pack to the car with you. You could even have some ice cubes in your mouth onthe cluster side. 8-)

Just please don't overlook the good news about people that are avoiding cycles altogether with busting.

Hey Arcan - if you try imitrex injections, this link that describes how to stretch your doses is some genuinely critical info: http://www.clusterheadaches.com/imitrex.html
-
Well I think you're very smart to be researching your options Arcan, because you never know when this beast will stop responding to a treatment, and it can really save you to have a back up plan all ready to go in such a case.

Hey Arcan, Although 80% or so of CH'ers are episodic, I think you'll find a significantly higher percentage of chronics here at this site since this is where people often come as a last resort after meds have failed (only to find it should've been the first resort!). Personally, like you I'm a lucky episodic who started off with one month per year. Here's something I've noticed after reading many thousands of posts from CH'ers: It is common for remissions to become longer and longer as the years and decades pass. When you've had 'em for 30+ years like me, you can find yourself going many many years between episodes! Of course there's no guarantee of that good fortune befalling any of us, and hell I could go chronic myself any nanosecond now, but I've certainly been lucky with the ever extending remissions. There certainly have also been plenty of reports of CH burning out completely by the time we reach elderly status. Plus there's the chance you could knock out entire episodes with busting anyway, so basically the future looks pretty bright. About the imitrex - that's a tuffy IMO. If I were you, after reading the warnings, I'd bust as a preventative, and use O2 as a first choice abortive, only considering imitrex injections as a back up. Um, because that's what I do. I think it's possible imitrex can make attacks worse. Or was that just going to happen anyway? My attacks became worse after several years with CH, but that was before imitrex was even invented. I had been prescribed prednisone though, and that could've made mine worse (??)

I would like to express the following sentiment: Yay. Now it's time to comeback down to earth Dan and start preparing your Emmy acceptance speech.
-
LOL y'all are killing me here! ;D I know you hate bustin', Dan, so I can't say "I hope it went well", but I hope it didn't go too bad, that good PF results will be obtained, and that NatGeo uses the video effectively.
-
Shoot I forgot to tell Dan "break a leg". Or maybe in this case "break a trigeminal"
-
Your results at the doctors and at Tricare are nothing short of incredible - that has to be the most successful medical O2 procurement story I've ever seen. Good work and congrats!!Â
