  1. We're anxious to see your handiwork, Denny. It won't be long. Ron and Mike
  2. Get well soon, Mystina. You're a very important part of this enterprise. Ron
  3. I don't know who this guy is or where he gets his information, but this article (http://headacheproblemsolving.com/category/uncategorized/) contains the best, most current - much of it is new to me - information re CH that I've read recently. He doesn't appear to put much stock in 'busting,' but in another of his articles (http://headacheproblemsolving.com/the-effects-on-the-brain-of-magic-mushrooms/) Tadic makes mention of its possible mechanism: "Psilocybin reduced blood flow in the hypothalamus, where blood flow is increased during cluster headaches, perhaps explaining why some sufferers have said symptoms improved under psilocybin."
  4. Suggestion. Recommendation. Both words work better than 'rule' in these instances. Thanks Alley.
  5. Something else that I feel should be considered here is access to busting materials. For many, if not most, seeds are the only substance initially available and if they don't work, 'angel gifts' of stronger psychedelics become their only potential source. These, typically, provide a stop-gap just until such time that a personal mushroom garden begins producing or other long-term access has been found. These 'gifts' are in extremely short supply so it's vital that they not be wasted. 5 days is the shortest period of time after which almost anyone can be insured of finding the 'Doors of Perception' open. As long as busting materials are in short supply, any shorter period could prove wasteful. Ron
  6. I'm sorry you didn't get more PF time too, Mrsg. Chronics have a tougher time busting than episodics but with a little time and patience you'll be okay. You'll notice after a few busts that each attempt has lessened the overall pain level a little bit - even after those attempts that haven't given you much completely PF time. Just keep hitting it every 5 days for a while and you'll see. What PF time you got from this last bust was pretty magic though, huh? Like a little piece of heaven.
  7. Let's hope this is just the beginning. 3 cheers for tryptamines. [smiley=vrolijk_26.gif] [smiley=vrolijk_26.gif] [smiley=vrolijk_26.gif]
  8. Good find, jimc5. Good article and new to me. Ron
  9. Good luck! Fingers crossed. Keep us posted.
  10. I guess you can call yourself anything you want, it's just that everyone here is used to having you call yourself Renee and anyone who doesn't show up here every couple of days could easily miss the name-change and wonder where you'd gone. Everyone would come around eventually though, I suppose. Whatever.

    Mycobags ?

Several of us tried them in the beginning. More trouble than they're worth for the amount of mushrooms they produce. Do it right and save your money for: http://www.clusterheadaches.com/cb/cgi-bin/yabb2/YaBB.pl?num=1330748491. It's easy. Ron
  12. This'll be the only chance this year for us to meet any a youse. My beautiful daughter's getting married on Sept. 22, the 2nd day of the Las Vegas conference. Just my luck!
  13. Me 'n' Mike are just comin' for the chicks... and the booze... and the cheeba.
  14. Hi Purp, The 5-days-between-doses rule isn't written in stone somewhere. With all the variables involved, that rule could likely be stretched to 4-to-6-days-between-doses or even 3-to-7-days. Problem is, what if Mrsgrneyedldy actually needs to wait 5 days but doses instead after 4 days? She cost herself an additional 4 days of suffering by taking the chance that she might save herself 1 day. I don't think it's worth taking the chance. Ron
  15. Thanks for the translation, Purp. Sorry for the delay - I've been on a time-out. Wow! That a non-hallucinogenic derivative of Psilocybin could prove effective against the memory loss of Alzheimer's leads me to believe that maybe a whole bunch of researchers are investigating the properties of non-hallucinogenic derivatives of psychedelic drugs. We may end up with several BOL-like compounds to choose from. This could be a good thing from several standpoints, not least of which is our current understanding that drugs found beneficial for one CH patient don't work for another. Ron
  16. I told the jerk to use his own Avatar. Sorry 'bout that. At least we got him to make a post. Ron
  17. Thanks to everyone who wished me happy birthday, I really appreciate it. To everyone in "Painsville" right now, I'm right there with ya and as long as we all stick together on this we will all see the other side of this coin together. Love ya all!!!!!
  18. I'll have to see if we can use the corporate jet.

Do we get groupies? I want groupies.
  20. And a very happy, belated birthday to you, Bob. Next year I'll get you a present. ;D
  21. Yeah, Ricardo - good article. My favorite sentence is the last: "Hallucinogens then do the same job as religion: they provide proof of unity, which - in humans and all other animals - is still the only known cure for fear of death." Ron
  22. Being a vasoconstrictor, I wonder if the 'shot' you're using would act as a penile deflator?
  23. Anybody know how to get an english translation of this page? Ron
