  1. ... So I have no beef with CHS, but honestly it seems sorta poor taste to come here poaching for people to join another site, when like Mom said above: LOTS of people volunteer for activities and support of and for this site. The very message board being posted to here is 110% for supporting those suffering with CH. Poaching for people to join some other message board = Not Cool, IMHO... I also agree that deleting this thread would be in good taste. J
  2. Tumblesage, It's never toooooo late. Try ordering some seeds, HBWR or RC. That might get you through terminating your cycle before you can get some fungus growing. J
  3. IMHO, Creating more and more and more different sites for CH support creates fragmentation in the community (and support). It would seem to me that funneling new sufferers to existing (higher volume) sites like this one (ouch, CH.com etc) would be more beneficial to them and the community. There are a ton of CH sites all over the place already. (not to mention people are already abandoning FaceBook like the plague from recent numbers I've seen). What's wrong with the support people get on this site? (obviously I'm partial to this site) J

shya, I wonder if he has more morning attacks than other times? hmmm, ;D If it works that's all that counts J
  5. Echo, When I first started dosing with the substances mentioned here I used HBWR seeds (LSA) to kill a cycle. Then maintenance dosed every 90 days with the HBWR. After a year a cycle came and wouldn't go away with the LSA dosing. I switched to vitamin M to kill it and have used mushies (mostly) every 60 days to keep the CH away for the majority of the last 3 years. (4 years total). To kill the cycle with vitamin M, I dosed a medium strong dose every 5 days for 3 doses. Life is a thousand percent better now than it ever was before 4 years ago. Sending you well wishes you'll be 100% painfree soon! J
  6. Echo, You're a smart cookie. Don't let them start cutting on your brain... I've spent most of the last 4 years Completely Pain Free, thanks to finding this website!!.. J
  7. (Don't mean to come out of the gate too hard on your doc but it sounds like he hardly knows what he's doing. (atleast he knows about 100% O2, so I'll give him that Some docs (a LOT of them) don't have clue as to how to properly perscribe O2. That guy doing his "study" is going to incorrectly report that O2 is useless for his patients, when it's really his script that's useless. He didn't give you a non rebreather mask if it doesn't have the bag that can fill with 100% O2. And that pretty much equals complete failure to help CH attacks. Not to mention he's completely clueless if he says over 12lpm won't help. Many people aren't able to get aborts until they go to 15lpm at a minimum. Some people have to go all the way up to 25lpm and do a short hyperventelate to take out attacks. It sorta gets me to hear quacks that act like experts when they don't have the first clue as to what they're doing. (But, glad he atleast got you the O2 script, you can modify as needed from here!!! yayyyy) You're on the right track getting the "Non Rebreather" mask from the website. PFW, J
  8. Didgens, All 4 of my wisdom teeth were taken out when I was 14. Clusters started at 18. Definitely a lot of chemical changes going on in a person at the same time CH starts for most. J
  9. Kirt, yea, I'm thinking something nasty might be growing in that water by now. J
  10. Last time I had dental work done (filling replaced 15 years ago). I opted to not have any anesthetic. It was uncomfortable, but nothing like a CH attack. I'd do it again without anesthetic in a heartbeat. J
  11. Mom, Good find! I won't claim to understand everything you wrote , but am happy to help with anything I can do to move CB up in the Google ranking! Personally I'd LOVE to see CB higher than wikipedia! J
  12. Agree with Tony and Jeebs, with one caviat. If you have any thought that it might not be over (any at all), I'd take the additional dose. Keeping it gone is easier than trying to start over on your busting, if it did come back. J
  13. Jazz, Don't be too hard on yourself. Something will make good use of the frog you dispatched. I'm in the process of transitioning to a vegitarian / vegan lifestyle as well. In the killing department I have to agree with the mosquitos and add one to the list, spiders and on occasion roaches, though I usually try to take them outside when given the opportunity. I've had 2 spider bites since moving to FL and both were somewhat painfull and gross... (though hardly ever see any spiders since moving 2 years ago). J
  14. Bob, Send em to Tampa. It's a LOT warmer down here J
  15. Moxie, Yes '0' is smaller than '00'. Just make sure you match your capsule size to the capsule filler rack you purchase. Here's a capsule size chart. http://healthleadsuk.blogspot.com/2012/03/empty-hard-capsules-all-you-need-to.html J
  16. Moxie, I almost shot water out my nose when I read your post.. 16 caps... talk about shooting for the stars, we would have been waiting for you to come back down for a few days. ha ha... Yea, Alleyoop got my math correct. (and maybe I should have been more clear). The size '00' empty capsule weighs approx .072 grams. I use size 00 caps and for purposes of an example: If I had 5 packed caps that weighed a total of 1.9g: I'd subtract (5 X .072 = .36g) .36g from that total weight of 1.9g which gives me a fungus weight (inside the caps) of 1.54 grams. Again, just an example. Depending on how tight you pack your caps determines your actual dose and number of caps to take for target dose. Those gelatin capsules are actually fairly heavy and can significantly affect the target dose as you can see from my math above. J
  17. Doesn't seem to work. Been so long since I logged in over there they apparently deleted my ID. I created a new one on the message board, but doesn't appear to work with the chat site. (error message it isn't a valid ID) J
  18. Moxie, That's very similar to the one I use. (I like the picture you show better than mine because of the high walls and one corner open to recycle material that doesn't fit in the caps!) Someone I knew , packaged everything from one grow into caps and stored in premeasured doses that are still being used two years later. After putting in caps, they were put in small zip lock bags (with a small amount of dessicant) and put in the freezer (cracker dry to start with, and ground using a coffee grinder). 2+ years and haven't lost any punch. The 00 caps weigh .072g each, so computing the dose is easy by weighing the total number of caps subtracting .072 for each cap then adjusting dose as needed to get proper amount of M. Your stomach will love you for it!!! J
  19. CHFather, You did a stellar job pulling to help those with CH. These guys just can't see the forest for all the trees. No doubt they're the type that would give a birthing mother a ticket on the way to the hospital just because she was speeding. For every rule there's an exception, they're just too stubborn to see that. Sad but not much we can do at this point. Thanks CHFather! I decided to take a break from it for a few days as I was sorta getting ticked they're so rediculously close minded. I wonder if they're going to leave Verapamil up given it's only approx 5% effective at healthy doses and isn't even an approved medicine for CH? I read the study regarding effacy and side effects. 38% of a CH study group had bad heart related issues after taking Verapamil. 19% started heart palipitations after taking Verapamil. (myself included, I got PVC's (premature vetricle contractions) that took 3 years to go away after stopping Verapamil). NO doubt these are just some of the reasons that Veramamil wouldn't pass the scrutiny of actually being an approved medicine for CH. But just because there are secondary studies it's allowed on Wikipedia... WTF...... J
  20. CHFather, I'm very surprised at the COPD and Lung Cancer. Given an overwhelming percentage of those with CH either smoke or have smoked (90% ish if I remember right), it seems indeed very low. Maybe along with CH we get some sort of a resistance to lung disease? J
  21. jkandola, Wahoo, one down! You're practically there already yea, my preference is Monster in the blue (low carb) can. Even at 2am I can slam one, hit the O2 and fall right asleep 20 minutes after the attack goes away. Pulling for you! J
  22. Definitely will be there. Missed last year, but enjoyed the group in Vegas the year before. I'll be driving up from Tampa, FL. Anyone want a ride thats along the route (I'll be coming straight up 75 to 24)? Also I have a house an hour and a half south of there. I might plan a little vacation that week. It's wayyyy out in the country... Alleyoop - Want me to pick you up in Chattanooga? You can leave your car at my best friends house there. J
  23. I had to think about this one real hard... Does being a sex addict count,? (ok just joking, I voted no, but diabetes does run in my fathers side of the family). J
