Finally!

Welllll, I busted with round 2 last night and only had a couple super short and mild shadows all day, today. So far, so good! I am feeling very positive about this!

Finally!

LMAO! I will certainly give it shot, then! Once again, thank you for everyone's compassionate and generous advice!!

Finally!

Thank you. Those are both great points for me to consider. My patience is just wearing thin without my trex shots. For some reason, the beast was rather persistent today and not as easy to abort as the last few days. I will just have to man up and give it another day. Truly grateful for the speedy responses!!

Finally!

How important is it between 4 and 5 days? I am at day 4 and had a about a kip7 for about 4 hours today, while I was trying to work. Can I start my round two tonight and still be ok? I have a fairly good metabolism.
5. It's hard to say when my first one was because I was only 8 and I'm 35 now. I just remember getting hit every other day and wondering what was wrong with me. My mother thought that they were just sinus headaches, so for the majority of my life I thought the same. That is, until I had finally seen a Neurologist in '05 who then explained to me the horrible world of CLUSTER FECKING HEADACHES! 8-) > :( Sorry, I get a little emotional about it at times! :D

Finally!

Now THAT is very encouraging. You're basically a busting mofo now Brad. ;D [smiley=thumbup.gif] Insert YEEHAW <here>. I have 4 daughters who have only seen a small handful of my major attacks. I am pretty good at dipping out and bottling up my pain and agony, cuz I dont want them to see me that way. So I guess that would make me a tough MOFO. YEEHAWWWW!!LOL!! Giving VitM a shot! Ginger, O2 and RedBulls have been very helpful with detox. Would anyone happen know why my pupil on my painful eye will sometimes constrict and haze my vision? Funny thing is, is that it doesnt happen on every cycle. Some years it will and then others it wont. Boy the beast is truly ILLUSIVE!!!

Finally!

Thank you for your concern, spiny. Yes I was able to bust on Saturday night. I see that I didn't say much about it on my previous post, but it was from the day after. I still get mild attacks daily but they are much easier to abort. I still plan to follow up on Thursday and every 5 days after until they have stopped.

Finally!

Thank you Thank you!!! I do understand that it could take weeks, and the detoxing was VERY difficult, but I just want my life back. Yet, I also believe that mankind will eventually do the right thing and globally amend the restrictions with the research and usage of this life saving medicine! Cuz ya Gotta have FAITH!!!!

Finally!

Hi everyone! I have finally decided to bust tonight after about 11 months of almost daily CH's! I have read as much as possible on how to do it successfully and am very optimistic. I am truly exhausted and am just so friggin desperate to live a normal PF life!! Wish me Luck!!! ;D 8-)
10. Thank you! So good to talk to yall again!! For over 20 years I could always say that "at least its only about a month or so". Not anymore. The beast has become possesive and persistant! I have been working in the sun and dealing with terrible allergies lately, leaving me completely exhausted. HDs are like clockwork about every late evening skipping an average of 1 or 2 days out of the week. Raw unfiltered apple cider vinegar has been working now on holding back the hayfever. Anyone hear if could be used for CH?
11. Hi gang! Yes I am now officially a Chronic CH sufferer. This cycle has lasted 9 months. I have continued my Suma shots and O2 therapy (no D3 this time as it had the opposite effect as my first attempt), but am now reconsidering my decision to bust! Im fed up with the pain and with mankinds version of "so called protecting the masses", from the natural medicines that they really need! Good to see y'all again!
12. My Reds are going to the World Series this year! iHope!
13. I have not given up on the D3 reg yet though I am blown away that it worked so well the first time and at the start of this second cycle. i understand that there are many other benefits to it aside of th CHs. I have gone up to 20,000 iu.
14. I honestly think that we may be they toughest people on the planet. To know that something as painful as these are going to repetitively beat us down and yet we are still here. I am proud of you ALL for being there for us and helping us when everyone one else just shruggs us off!!! THANK YOU!!! :) :) 8-) 8-) 8-)
15. No word from my insurance clearance for O2 so I I may have to pay out of pocket. Finally started the topamax and already annoyed with how slow I feel but I slept through the night so be it. I have a BAD cold/flu infection on top of it so I feel like I'm in hell. I think that I already see little visuals out of the corner of my eyes. I just have to stay positive and know that I will ALWAYS win!!!
16. Urrrrrrg! I am getting an average of 4 hits every 24 hours. I am afraid to even go to sleep since rem seems to trigger a hit. Waiting for insurance to clear my o2 script and he gave me topamax that I have been hesitant on taking because of how I didn't like the carbamazepine (anti seizure) from before. Is it worth it?
17. Scratch that! That friggin Beast visited me 3 times in 24 hours and he's Angry! Nailed him the first two times with my remaining injections but he woke me up at 2 in the morning and the sumatripten tablets took and hour and a half before I was able to go back to sleep I wonder if it is because I ran out of OJ a few days ago?
18. 1. Are you: A. Chronic B. Episodic 2. With the understanding that there are many factors affecting CH, do you feel that the D3 regimen: A. Did nothing or nearly nothing for you. B. Eliminated your headaches. C. Helped with the severity of your headaches but didn’t eliminate them. D. Helped with the frequency of your headaches but didn’t eliminate them. E. Seemed to help for a while but then stopped showing anything positive. If this is true for you, how long did this improvement last before stopping? 3. If you experienced positive results, how long were you on the D3 regimen before you experienced them? It took about a week the first time. On the second time less than a year later it was almost overnight minus a mild hit and some morning shadows.
19. Sorry for the delay, I fried my laptop on Halloween, so I am now using the wife's until I get my new one this week. Amazingly enough, I have still yet to have anything more than a few morning shadows since I started the D3 regimen. They were quite aggressive up until my second dose. And yes CHfather, I do eat quite healthy being a personal trainer and all. I have to lead by example for my kids and my clients. I wasn't always and still am not completely perfect but now I have condensed it to a cheat day or two, once a week. Soda was my biggest weakness along with smoking, till I quit 3 years ago.Â
20. Thank you Birdman and CHfather. After 26 years of this, I just get frustrated at times. I took the first dose of the D3 reg yesterday and actually had the first full night sleep in almost 3 weeks. With the exception of a mild lingering shadow when I woke up It is still early and it took about a week the last time but I am optimistic as I included honey(Boron) Parmesan romano cheeze (Vit K) and OJ this time around.
21. Ok, so I finally started the D3 regimen today. I have been getting hit once or twice in the day and at least twice at night, possibly at the start of rem sleep. Figured that I would try to tough it out with just the shots, but now my belly is sore from all the injections. Fed up and frustrated due to severe lack of sleep. I had great luck the last time with D3 and now wished that I didn't drag my feet on this one. I WANT A CURE! Not just pain management, but a REAL cure! Thanks for letting me vent! : >
22. It did NOTHING for my CH, but I yelled at my kids less... haha!Made me real tired too.

Thanks spiny and bejeeber, I should be most of the way through this cycle, so I will hold on the O2 till the next "ROUND W/THE BEAST!" LOL!

Yeah, I get 3 per shot. I have to take wire snips to cut the vial from the new encased single shot mechanism. I hate how a full shot makes me feel when a third is ALWAYS enough to abort a HD.

Well, the results for the MRI came back clean as a whistle! Now its back to the original question "where does the beast come from, and WHY!!!" I am up to about 2 HDs a day, including the middle of the night rude awakenings. I get about 500 dollars worth of sumatriptin shots for about 8 dollars with insurance (thankfully). Now that the MRI is out of the way I will start the D3 regimen. PF Wishes everyone!
