I have my MRI in the morning both with and without contrast. I hope it is all well but most of all I would like some closure. I will keep you all posted!

I also tried 5-HPT as a desperate attempt for my clusters with no success. I was very hopeful because I remembered it from my fun party days and wondered if it would work. But of course the beast is VERY illusive and what works for one may not the other. I am still waiting for my MRI date to arrive to check for AVM. Fingers crossed. Funny chance of luck that one of my new clients that I am training is a Neurosurgeon and he is willing to help me in any way he can!   Â

Thank you Robert. I will definitely keep that in mind. I spoke with my doc yesterday and after I mentioned AVM to him We scheduled an MRI. The deciding factor though was after I told him that for about about a month I was getting severe exertion headaches (especially during intimate times with my wife). Once he heard that, he immediately said "Lets set one up". Hope it's nothing but worth a check! Getting ready to start D3 Reg. "The Beast will NOT win!!! "

I most certainly hope that everything turns out well for you and I am definitely going have a talk with my Dr about this. I am sending many positve thoughts your way and wish you the ULTIMATE BEST!!!!! Hang in there and remember that we are ALL here for you!!

Welllll......I am now starting to think that the beast is in sheeps clothing. Had to perform two more injections for the last two nights at about the same time. Yet each morning I blew out some lovely orangey hued mucus from the nostril of the typically painful side. Either way, I'm scheduling a Dr visit this week to re-up on shots and O2 and I will certainly read the D3 updates, CHFather. Thanks for the heads up. Bummer, it hasn't even been a full year yet! Hoping that I am not slowly becoming a chronic!?!?!? Oh well, I am truly blessed that I have a wonderful extended family here that I can always depend on!!!!!!!

Thank you, very much both of you. Luckily, I realized this morning that I have a sinus infection. The sudden searing pain behind my typical eye threw me off kilter. But with the arsenal of information that I have received from you guys, I did not panic, as I used to. Good to hear from you again and I plan to stick around and visit way more often!

Thanks. I'm gettin ready to start D3 Reg again whether it's back or not.

Hope everyone is well. It's the second day after my attack and now I have a few shadows lurking. Hope its only sinus. (fingers crossed)

Hello fellow clusterheads, I have missed you all and I hope everyone is well. I have been absent for a while dealing with the chaos in my wonderful life. I have been doing well in school and am actually turning in my final assignment tonight. I graduate/walk in about 3 months but now officially a personal trainer for a large gym. I have been PF only since January and last night it hit while driving home. Luckily I still have a few Immatrex injections which a 1/3rd of one worked. I'm hoping that it was just it's illusive cousin the Sinus migraine. They are hard to tell apart for me at times. I am going to wait it out and see if the cyclic pattern returns. How have y'all been?!

The beast has won again, so sad! My thoughts go out to his family. > :(

Sorry to hear that, spiny. My biggest fear was that any of my daughters could end up with this horrendous condition. Maybe one possibility could be a sinus or allergy flare. I have started to learn the subtle differences. I have have allergies that very closely resembled an CH but responded well to Mucinex. It might be worth a shot. Positive thoughts sent his way.

That is always the worst; to actually get hit WHILE driving. Whether it is the sun during the day or other vehicles headlights at night, it sucks either way!

Sending positive thoughts her way!!!

I hope you have a PF night, as well> Sending positive thoughts your way!!!! ;)

Good one, Purple404! The plot thickens, haha!

New to the site. Thanks for all the help already!

The silver lining is that we can truly value and respect PF days where as we normally take them for granted. It's a love hate relationship! -
Mine have definitely become more intense over the years and lasting a little longer each cycle. Went from about 1 month as a kid and now have become nearly 3 months as an adult.    Well, I think it is safe to say that I am now fully out of this last cycle, which started mid-October. For the first time in my life, I barely new it was there. I did at least suffer terribly for about 2 and half weeks till I found this site and acquired the greatest PF knowledge, so far, known to man. I am usually overjoyed by the final end of a cycle but I hardly experienced that this time. I just hope that I have the same success during the next cycle.!!!    I still feel bad for those whose have yet to find help and I send them positive thoughts and wishes that it finds them soon. BTW Purp! I am right behind you in posts. It is full Member @ 100 posts, right? I'm at 98. Gnarly!!!!

Happy Berfday, Purple404! ...and many, many, many more! I like berfdays because they always reminded that another year has gone by and the beast did not ultimately win! I personally think that we have to be some of the toughest S.O.B.'s on the entire planet to go through what we do. Be sure to have some serious fun this weekend and take nothing for granted!

Welcome Berkonic, Yeah, they gave me tegretol (anti-seizure) which was some nasty stuff. I told him that I suffered from CH and not TN but he wanted to try it anyway. I was towards the end of my cycle anyhow, so we will never know. But I swear it triggered an attack after every dose beyond the second week. You found the right place, there very informative and empathic people in these parts!

Happy (early)Born-On-Day, my fellow Aquarian!Â

I am terribly sensitive to light and sound during an attack. I would sit in my garage during attacks and if so much as a shred of light comes in then I am extremely annoyed. I was surprised also, when I heard it was rare for CH's because its what I have always known. Amazing going my whole life never meeting anyone else until I found this site. With more and more Clusterheads coming out of the woodwork!
