Watching that video brings me to tears. When I found this site I was at the end of my rope. I was trying to figure out how I could get the family together and let them know that I was going to kill myself. How do you explain to your family that you can not live with this anymore? Well I found this site and you guys saved my life. I can not put into words my appreciation to all that helped me here.

Pain I am one of the lucky few that has migraines with cluster events during the headache. It is a horrible existence to live with and I am sorry to hear you are suffering with them. Listen to these guys on this site they can change your life. They have saved my life.

I took Diltiazem twice a day for about 10 years. When it stopped working I had to stop taking it for about a week and get back on it. This worked for a long time but it stopped working. Talk to your doctor about how to stop your dose. My doc had me take prednisone while I was taking the week off. Good luck.

Just want to give you a heads up on larger welding oxygen bottles. Please strap them to something that will not let them fall over. I worked in the petrochemical business for 33 years and let me tell you if the tank falls over and brakes the valve off the tank turns into a uncontrolled missile. The smaller the tank the less likely it will happen but trust me it is deadly when it happens.

Sierra, Thanks for posting. You just confirmed what I was debating in my mind. I am out od MM and I will definitely be getting more. FYI. I found a way to store MM for months at a time. I grind them up in single doses in a coffee grinder. I put the powder into the capsules that use to have my Diltiazem in. After i have filled them I vaccum seal them in a single dose, just to be safe i double bag them. Mine stayed good for since November 20 2015. I hope this helps and thanks again for the post.

I finished the survey, but i wish it had some place to make some final comments. My attitude and wellbeing is far better now that I have busted with MM than before. If this survey was taken back when I was suffering my answers would have been way different.

Be careful with how much and how long you take Prednisone as it can soften bones. My doc was very specific in the use and duration he would let me take it. I hated that because it was Prednisone was real effective for me. There are a lot of good people on this site that have a lot to offer. Please listen to them with an open mind. Well tomorrow makes 90 days after I busted with MM and I am happy to say I am still cluster free. Although I am extremely happy with the results after suffering for over 30 years. I find it frustrating that Doctors can not use this to treat patients. Even if they had to use it in a controlled environment. Three doses have brought me more relief than 30 years of doctors saying try this and tell me what it does for you? Thank all of you for the support! This site has changed my life.

I remember going in for an MRI and I told my mom I hope they find a tumor, my mom started crying. no one that does not have these can understand what we go through.

I get what you are saying. I have used that term also. I can tell you with certainty from experience that my Cluster headaches hurt more than anything I have broke or have had medically wrong with me. For me Kidney stones, shattered Acetublum, broken vertebrae, separated shoulders, broken collarbones, torn ligaments in both ankles torn cartilage in both knees do not hold a candle to the pain of a cluster. So for me I just say that they are the most painful thing I have ever felt.

Does Cluster headaches add to short term memory loss? I ask because I had multiple concussions over my racing career. The last one left me with short term memory loss. I ask this because after I busted with MM my short term memory seems better. I have been cluster free for 5 weeks now. Or is there any evidence that supports MM can help with short term memory loss?

Gadudega, yes triptans can cause rebounds. I feel that not only do they cause rebound but I believe that your headaches start to crave them.

Airgas has O2 tank 125 cubic feet for under $50. Empty i am sure. My question is will a 125 cubic foot tank be large enough? How long will it last? I have a line on a 0-25 LPM regulator.

I am 53 years old and can not remember not having these dan headaches. I had a 1 year remission completely migraine and cluster free about 20 years ago. I agree with spiny, if and when there is a cure it will be in the U.S. Why anyone would go and get these treatments that are not approved in the U.S is beyound me, complete desperation I guess?

daimbread, I take Diltiazem 120 mg two times a day. I have found that about once a year I need to stop taking the Diltiazem for a week. During this time I use prednisone to help with the migraines and clusters? I am suprised that you can take Relpax daily. I use Zomig and if I use it more than 3 days in a row I will get rebound headaches and the only way to stop them is to suffer through them without any meds. Hang in there and good luck.

Zomig nasal spary works great for my attacks. The problem with the Nasal spray is i get rebound headaches when I use it more than one day.
