  2. Have experienced cluster headaches for 15 years now. Finally went in to neurology for exam. Diagnosed as cluster headaches. I started on a small dose of prednisone for 5 days, a week later began 100mg verapamil 3x/day. Those doses began 20 days ago. I have not noticed any significant reduction in headaches (average 4-6/day) and is very, very depressing. If things do not improve soon I might have to search for more professional help. But for the time being I'll continue on with my research here. I've visited other forums/sites but ClusterBusters seems to contain much more information and it's also very active. Have been reading thru some of the topic's/messages here and have found a vast amount of information. Of course I need to study more here and figure out what all the acronyms stand for! Thanks so much for making this forum available. This is my 1st post so I hope I've posted it in the correct board. Jeff from Iowa City

  3. O2 doesn't need a flame to spontaneously combust with hydrocarbons. I know lots of people do this, so I'm not knocking it. Just wanting people to be aware they should be very careful. Example: Say a mechanic comes in with oily hands and is getting hit.. He goes for the bag and bang... He's on fire in a second. Hydro carbons are all around us. Again I know lots of people do this without issue, but just wanting there to be warnings also. Cheers, J

  4. There you go using the “C” word. Again, unfortunately you don’t learn. You didn’t cure anything, you eliminated a trigger for yourself. Your brain is just as fed up as ours, may be more. That’s great you found your major trigger. But. Triggers change, not everyone has the same triggers. keep in mind this is a site about busting, over the years people have added other helpful things, but this isn’t ch.com. So when you start posting about a “cure” and refuse to stop using the word you really offend people here! God knows we all want a cure but what you found is no cure. Even though (to the best of my knowledge) @Psiloscribe Has not had a CH in years he doses 2x a year but would NEVER say he has a cure! Same goes for @Batch with his amazing (data driven!!!) results with his vitamin D protocol would never have the bravado to claim a “cure”. You are in a site that was created specifically for busting, as a separate site from CH.com for the purposes of sharing knowledge about the use of psychedelics to treat (NOT CURE) CH. so when you come here saying you have a cure, don’t want to hear anything about busting, and still claim you’ve cured yourself. I again think you need to do a quick search (upper right of your screen) for “cure” start with the oldest posts first and work your way up to your cure...

  6. Bots are the reason we try our best to keep all references to some treatments in the closed threads. And why we move them. Google grabs them all and when someone does a search for one, our page comes up because a certain word was used. It is hunting for those things. Also why replies are limited when they are on a public thread or forum. Once it hits the ether, it is gone. They run non-stop and they are legion!!!!

  7. They are web crawlers mostly, just indexing sites and stuff for search. Some are hacker sniffers looking for old versions of forums and stuff. I have put up many forums and you would be surprised by the weird traffic. A quick check shows tons of them viewing random profiles. No way a real guest is all over profiles and ancient threads on page 50 etc. These are crawlers.
