Well dont beat me up either however, oral ingestion of cannabis works on migraine. Being blessed with both is wonderful isn't it? The conflict is cannabis will also trigger cluster attacks. Management of both could include ingestion of cannabis only once the cluster attacks are in remission or under control otherwise. I will no longer ever call cluster attacks headaches..My migraines are headaches. Cluster attacks are not in my opinion. We would never hack on ya for pain Shaggy. Migraines hurt bad. blueballs

Back from the ER....again. They all know me fairly well and the nurse mentioned her father has CH. We discussed how individual symtoms can be, and began a conversation relative to treatments...once I had my cognition back in place. The doctor on duty whom I know asked what else would work to help as the first shot of trex failed. My wife mentioned the case series Bob spoke of and our participation. It does help immensely to: Know the professional you tell this to. Have some judge of their character prior to discussion. Give them access to medical documentation in place.They should have some background on you so as not to label you due to the social stygma attached to these substances. 8-) Bangeth thy headeth. blueballs

Nothing illegal about talking. Good point though. That would mean we should use discrection when presenting this option for treatment. I would not expect them to condone or participate,as you point out they have a license to protect. In the interest of honesty and proper health care it would not be prudent to lie to them. I believe proper health care demands honesty with your neuro...they are treating you traditionally and I am experimenting with a non-traditional treatement. That may or may not conflict. I think we can come up with a proper way to present busting without skirting legal, and ethical boundry's. Now were cooking Ow,ow,ow, this sucks. > bb

Hey all my fellow bangers. We should talk about this further. It is critical to our common cause to present this information in a proper fashion to doctors, Pcp's, neuro's, and other medical people. Perhaps if we have more discussion regarding this we would be more successful in getting a positive response from them.? We would be taking it to them and have support from more people in the right places I think..???maybe ??? yes??? no??? bb

Think again. I must be a lucky guy, my docs and neuro's have been very good...it's all about information and timing. If you go in there telling them ...it wont work. > If they are presented with information in the proper way they are more receptable to it. :-*They are people too, all different and all worthy.Dont like em get a different one. For me without the bubbler my throat will become irritated. At high flow with a bubbler, moisture will get in the hose....it is solved with a water trap available from 02 suppliers,it goes in line and will trap moisture that causes bacteria and fungus. Be aware that cleaning and decontamination is critical...gotta have clean tools.Hoses,mask, water trap, bubbler all of it. Lifegas recommends cleaning of their product after each use. Keep in mind ambient air contains moisture and our bodies are acclimated to that moisture. Comfort is everything Hope you have happy huffin Belive me you dont want an oral fungus or bacterial infection that can propagate to the lungs...you wont be able to use 02 then. :'( bb

I would like to offer another opinion...regardless of the information I see nothing defamatory. Perhaps a bit incomplete, however it's nice to see more sites with CH references getting information to a sufferer ignorant of their affliction. Passing on any information to anyone regarding CH enlightening them to treatment and Clusters themselves is MISSION ACCOMPLISHED. Just my two cents Wishin I was a fishin bb

Horses dont eat seeds,they eat hay. I think it's important to note that we are all experimenting on ourselves and we all have our own best information to offer. Weather it's the horse or the donkey. I have found that a finer grind increased the effect for me. Thats all ,take it or leave it. Same as the sludge take it or leave it. Grind it or smash it. Use a high speed coffee grinder to bust up those seeds. It will make a fine powder out of them and they soak better. You may also find you will have a better LSA content. However I have never actually measured it, but I felt it. bb
