  1. How are you feeling now? It has been several days since your last bust now and if all is sill quiet, I might feel it was over. You should not get slapbacks after every bust. That part gets easier the more you bust. You can call to get your blood work results if you want the D levels. Get a number from them, not 'Oh, it's fine!' That can mean it is 30 and that is BAD low. but, within the current guidelines. Get the number. You want to be above 80.
  2. Tony, I have no idea. I just wanted to say Hi and wish that you were doing better. Gut issues are awful and I feel for you!! Healing vib's friend.
  3. Pred usually does buy you that pain free time. Until you taper it down! It would be a great time to start the D3 Regimen. It takes a week or three to work, but is very worth it! Adding the Benadryl is very helpful thing for many taking it too.
  4. I use very strong cold brewed coffee kept in the fridge for mine. I can't take any of the Energy Drinks but V8. The D3 Regimen can be a life saver. As I explained to someone once, 'Would you swallow five sips of water for pain relief?' We tend to buck up over taking a fistful of vitamins as some describe them. But for many CHers', the regimen has stopped their cycles completely! I highly recommend that you check into it and do it! All good for you , unlike scripts!! ATB!
  5. Hi Windman and welcome! I have not heard of this, but I am delighted that you are finding great relief with it. It is surprising that you did not get O2 for your cycle though. I thank you for posting this.
  6. Batch, have you put this out on the FB page that so many belong to?
  7. It is very difficult for the CHer and the spouse/partner to grasp what we go through. Do not expect it! And actually be grateful they don't have this mess. My spouse wanted to be there to know about everyone that I had and try to 'help'. It about caused a parting of ways. For me, there is NOTHING he can do to help, just leave me alone till it is over please. That was the hardest part for him. 'How about I talk to you and you just listen?' Listening jacks up my pain. He was devastated to find out that the best thing he could do was leave me alone. And I finally got my tanks moved to another room so I could treat them in peace. If he hears me get up, he acknowledges it and leaves me alone. If I say I need a day off to treat this, he supports me in that effort. That is the best thing a spouse can do in my book - help you treat this disease. Showing him a man suffering with this solved my problem. He 'assumed' it was because I was a female and not able to take the pain 'like a man'. The videos proved my point and he stopped thinking I was a wimp and offered up all of his support because he now saw my strength. You need to understand that she can't really understand what you are suffering. You need to do everything that you can to get them under control - for yourself and your family. Where is your O2? Are you using it in the best way possible? What are you taking for your CH currently? There are many ways to reduce the pain or actually kill the cycle. Please, allow us to help you find your way back to life. What are you ding for your CH now? ATB!
  8. Kat, my experience is this: At 23 I began having one sided headaches daily. I had an EEG done, I had been knocked out prior - exactly three months. The EEG showed defective Beta waves. The doctors all scratched their heads and said 'try this' and then 'anything you need, just let us know'. At the time it was well known/assumed that repercussions from being knocked out occurred at three months. I had Elavil and one other pill to take. Thorazine prescribed as needed for nighttime hits. My headaches were always left sided and lasted about 20 minutes with a moderate level of pain that was boring into my head. They were daily. I stayed on this regimen for about two years. Then I dropped it as I was having no issues. Two years later they returned. Low level chronic. Not bad pain, but mess with your attitude pain. After five years, those went away when I decided to put my feet in screaming hot water for the duration rather than take their stuff. I then had a 10 year hiatus. When they returned, I learned what pain really was. They returned one afternoon when I had just cracked a beer to look a the lovely mountains around me. I took a sip and then another. Then my head began to go crazy. I looked at the beer and though 'surely not' and took another drink. That was the last. The pain was shocking. The solution beyond me. I was terrified. It took about 24 hours for me to begin searching 'headaches'. It took about two days to see my normal doctor and get a script for Carbmazapine. Lived/survived on that for a while. Then I upped to dose as allowed, and had triple vision. Next up, the nueuro. Who happily proclaimed that I had migraines. Nope. Oh yes. Take this and come back in two weeks. I took my husband, who changed the mans point of view right quick saying 'My wife is in agony every night at eight pm. I want my wife back!'. And that turned the light on for him. Then, I received proper treatment, so far as he knew. My hits were 2.25 hours long and occurred every 2.50 hours. So, fifteen minutes between the four night time hits of every cycle for 6 to 8 months of the year. It was hell. I became a person I did not like. I found Cjusterbusters. I survived. So yes. mine have changed over the years. But I have won the war.
  9. That is great Batch!! This study should provide the proof needed for the Neuros we deal with. Wish that I could participate, but the protocol is keeping me cycle free and I can't give that up.
  10. Another step forward! Love the pics they showed!! Amazing what can be seen today with the new equipment.
  11. Okay. Then I am lost as to what you are asking. Sorry. If you are getting good aborts at 10lpm, you must be doing something right! How long are you on the O2 per abort? Are you doing the 'post' breathing?
  12. Are you referring to the Clustermask or one you have been given to use with your O2?

    Shadows!

Thanks Kat!!! Always nice to know of different options!!
  14. Best of luck Sahr!!! Yes, please report back and let us know how it worked for you! I am delighted that you got some relief.
  15. I think that you will add to Citizen Science by posting your personal results! I have heard yes and no to MM helping with migraines. One CHer has a wife with migraines. She was having one while prepping his MM for him. Her migraine went away! She still uses it for that so far as I know. It is worth a shot! We would appreciate your input if you try it, so please let us know about your personal experience! ATB
  16. Prevent it from working. Read the blue banner above - New Users, Read here first. You can type in the search bar at the top what topic you want to read about and it will bring up other threads where 'blocking' has been used. A SPUT will not make you high or make you trip. It is a tiny amount that can abort a hit.
  17. Triptans block the MM. You will get no benefit from them if you are taking triptans. So, if you can hang in there for five days, the MM should work. As a side note, some will take a SPUT, which is a small piece under tongue of a mushroom. You cannot do this daily either, but a SPUT in the middle of your detox period will not block your bust. A small piece is about the size of your thumbnail. Put it under your tongue or in your cheek for perhaps 30 minutes and it will often abort the attack. Perhaps this will help you get through that medicine free period that you need for success. Cheers!

Fun Times is correct. Make sure it is the 300 for Clusters, not the 100 for migraines. It has helped a lot of people.
  19. It appears that 20micrograms was the minimum that worked, if I read it correctly. That is a tiny amount, no? Maybe 10% of a tab? I'm not very knowledgeable regarding LSD.
  20. Are you trying Melatonin or Benadryl at night? I would add the Benadryl - 2 at bedtime. If they don't make you too sleepy, you can take one at a time during the day. Read the bottle. I do not suggest you add both at the same time. Your balance may be wonky and be an issue getting around during the night. So, perhaps try adding the Benadryl first. ATB!
  21. And the D3 Regimen! MM is not needed as often with the D3. In addition, making sure that I am not given Epinephrine for dental or surgical procedures. Avoid booze when I get a shadow, staying home when a pressure front is moving in and lowering the barometric pressure. I live on a mountain, so going down is fine, but returning will precipitate a hit anytime after September 21st or so. So, I do take other precautions so that I do not set myself up for a hit. Everything helps to some degree. But the most effective would be MM and D3. I have not had a full cycle in years now. Life is good.
  22. Many thanks Batch. That should cover it for me! Dave: I am Episodic. My cycles begin on the Fall Equinox and end on the Spring Eqininox. Unless something jumps in to add to that. So, I suppose that means about have my life if untreated. Before you ask, what kept me going was family and the holidays when I would get to see my kids and grands. Looked pretty rough, but I was there to enjoy!! Fortunately, being here has shown me the way to get PF and stay that way most of the time. I do have break through's caused by barometric pressure drops, surgery, illness. That sort of thing still comes through on occasion. But no cycles for a while now. There is hope and help here. Peace!
  23. Love reading this Bryan!!! Congratulations and a big happy dance! Batch's D3 has helped many people attain PF status, which is altogether amazing. Vitamins, right? Now ya gotta love them!
  24. In an 'untreated' cycle, my hits are two hours, fifteen minutes. I get fifteen miuntes break and off to the next one - same 2 hours and fifteen minutes. So, that makes four hits per night, ending about 6am and I sleep from 6 to 8am. Kinda rough. Batch: Thank you!! A friend used the D3, Pepcid, and Zinc for COVID. I had missed the Pepcid part, but evidently it is safe even at high daily doses. Nice to know!
