CHfather
NY Times, "Taking the Magic Out of Magic Mushrooms" https://www.nytimes.com/2022/07/15/opinion/hallucinations-psychedelics-depression.html A couple of themes in this story (and nothing about CH), but the one that interested me: "some scientists are working to develop molecules based on psychedelics that provide the therapeutic benefits of the drugs but without the hallucinations."
Shaun brearley
Some scientists are working to develop molecules based on psychedelics that provide the therapeutic benefits of the drugs but without the hallucinations God I hope not only joking would be an amazing thing if they can
xBoss
I never hallucinate regardless of the dose or if it's shrooms or LSD. I did a couple times about 25 years ago and then it was over.
Bejeeber
Interesting article indeedy - I had seen it too, and had been 'planning' on posting it here. Once again @CHfather beats me to the punching festivity.

We plan to share top line data from the study in the first quarter of next year, and then we’ll move straight onto Phase II..." So highly appreciative that this is occurring, while also remaining exceptionally jaded (after so many false starts and disappointments) regarding the question of whether we will ever get our hands on this non hallucinogenic super LSD / super busting substance that has clinical trials dating back to the 1950's.

I checked clinicaltrials.gov to see if it was listed. Nothing there, guess not ready to announce officially or it's private? I'd be happy to get a compound that acts like L but with the duration of MM.
