  1. You are correct, there is no cure! But you can get some life back with busting and other things people have suggested. I have been where you are and got some relief only to go back. It’s a life long fight and I am thankful for this group of people that have helped me cope with this life.

  2. .....oh yeah....scary stuff since rapid barometric pressure changes were usually a trigger. i carried imi shots or zomig sprays plus energy drinks (and increased verapamil for the period i used it). my "theory" on why i wasn't hit in air is that travel is STRESSFUL and stress has always been a preventive for me (e.g. 20 mins home AFTER work stress a regular trigger). once i arrived, if in cycle, the cycle continued....which is why i usually arranged for O2 at destination thru Lincare travel program. CH takes enough...don't let it get your joy...be prepared, then deal with it where you want to be rather than where you are, and wishing you were there.... ...edit to add....never triggered a cycle....if i was in, it continued, if i was out,it did not start one...

  3. If I was gonna fly and party like a rock star I would probably take some prednisone with me. Ya I hate it but it keeps the beast away.

  4. Thank you for posting this. All experiences are valued here, and it's great that you are feeling so good. There's a long thread about B1 here: https://clusterbusters.org/forums/topic/5417-b1-oral-high-dose-thiamine/, and I think @Bejeeber is, or at least was, taking that phosphatidylserine to keep his memory strong (maybe if I was taking it, I would remember this for sure), but didn't feel like it was helping his CH. Maybe the combo of the three is doing the trick for you. I hope it continues, and I hope you'll keep letting us know how it's going.

  6. Funny was stop once and asked why I had 2 injection in my hand laugage at Manchester airport . Told security that it was better for every1 on the plane that I had than with me if I needed them , because it could get messy up there if I got HIT!! , they looked a bit puzzled but got the airport doctor to come and speak to me . I had to go through all the usual CH explanation. She had no idea really what the hell I was going on about, but 15 mins later she came back from her hidy hole office and told security everything was ok . Just makes me smile thinking about it , when they first stopped me at security the guy thought he'd could a drug addict

  8. After reading this thread I started to look for clinical trials in the UK that I might volunteer for - I contacted the Beckley Foundation as they were involved with BOL-148 trials www.beckleyfoundation.org . I got a response from them today - thgey're not currently doing any trials but said that there are two clinical trials recruiting participants for psilocybin and cluster headaches: One at the Rigshospitalet’s Neurobiology Research Institute in Copenhagen, Denmark (Contact: Gitte Moos Knudsen, +4535456720, gmk@nru.dk), and one in West Haven, Connecticut, USA (Contact: Emmanuelle Schindler, 203-932-5711 ext 4335, emmanuelle.schindler@yale.edu; or Christina Forte, 203-932-5711, ext 2526, christina.forte@yale.edu). Thought I'd pass this on in case anyone wants to volunteer Phil
