  1. Happy is good!!!! I have some of my medical records dating back to before I was diagnosed with migraines and CH's. It took a long time to figure out what was wrong with me because the symptoms of migraine intertwined with the symptoms of CH. For example, I described my head/eye feeling like it had a tent stake driven through it while rocking back and forth, pacing, screaming and at the same time I was also sound/light/smell sensitive with nausea. Sudden, sharp pain behind my eye along with my head throbbing and feeling squeezed.  It's no wonder it took forever to get diagnosed. Charting every pain/time/frequency helped my doctor make the proper diagnoses.Â
  2. I like that illustration. I'm sorry your having a hard time, Hipshot. My CH's came back today also.    If we lived closer to each other, I'd share my ice packs and Red Bull with you. I'm of no help what-so-ever on this topic as I'm confused on the frequency of dosing also. Poor Psiloscribe is surely tired of me asking when I can dose and how much. (Love ya, Bob! )Â
  3. After my heart got a good squeeze and I felt like I was being choked, my CH would abort using Imitrex...and come back. Vicious cycle. So glad to hear things are improving for you, This Isn't Fair.
  4. Thanks for posting the details, Kleinsopp. So happy for you! Do you have migraines and cluster headaches? Prior to this treatment, I had CCH's and along with daily tension headaches/migraines. I'm still battling the CCH's, but the duration, intensity, and frequency has improved. I've noticed a drastic improvement in migraines/tension headaches. Before/during migraine, I experience delayed speech, brain fog, confusion, sometimes vertigo (frustrating - I just feel stupid!). Now that I'm dosing, sometimes I still experience these migraine symptoms, but I never get the migraine. I probably have only about 5 "regular" headaches a month now. I hope you have continue to have sucess!
  5. I did the seeds on Sunday @ 1pm. Today, Monday, I've been shadowing heavy (persistent burn in neck, ear, eye) all day and 3x's have had a spike to a level 4/5. I posted additional details of dosing under under 02, espresso, 1/4 tab, page 2. I don't know if it was because of the seeds or not, but around 10:30pm, I became very dizzy. It had felt as though the effects of the seeds had worn off completely by around 5:30pm, so again, I'm not sure if the dizziness is related to the seeds. The room was spinning. This morning it continued until approximately 10am today. I'm not sure how you determine the freshness of the seeds, but mine were easy to crush and had a meaty off-white color center.
  6. I used 30 RC seeds and barely felt anything. I was very nauseous. This is my first time using seeds, so I don't have anything to compare my dose to.
  7. I ordered from '>psychoactiveherbs.com . They were shipped from California.Â
  8. This is the best news ever! Thank you, thank you, thank you for all of your dedication and hard work!
  9. http://www.slideshare.net/ananthatiger/anatomy-of-hypothalamus-n-limbic-system I'm a very visual person - enjoyed this.
  10. I'm sorry your having such a hard time. Hopefully, someone will be able to hook you up. Without a doubt. A five day migraine and non-stop CH's led me to the ER last year. Arrogant triage nurse didn't believe me my warning that it was about time for me to get hit w another CH. He took his s w e e t time evaluating his "migraine" patient. Then a CH hit - level 9 in what seemed like seconds. Things changed. Sweet little me had Nurse Arrogant yelling frantically for a doctor as other nurses surrounded and tried to "assist" sitting me down in a chair while instructing me to remain calm. You can imagine how that went!   I was described as looking like a crack addict going thru withdrawals. BTW - the Dr. was knowledgeable - immediately put me in a room with 02, apologized on behalf of the nurses, and knocked me out. Good times, good times....
  11. True Dat. Endless frustration and pain is why I and many others are here. Welcome!
  12. So so very sorry, Tingeling. Sending you a PM
  13. Now THAT is funny! You guys are so sarcastic! ;D
  14. I've never had my nose burn. Just my ear - it's rings/can't hear/turns red. I think I remember reading that you also had a problem with your ear/hearing with CH. Curious, both sides of your nose or just your CH side?
  15. You're already doing it! Just by posting a message on here and telling others that your life does sometimes go back to "normal" is encouraging and supportive to all of us.  Â
  16. A rare brain disease. That is the wording I use most frequently. Another CHer came up with this thought and posted it. It works well. Sometimes I mention hypothalamus, out of remission, currently undergoing experimental medical treatment, etc.. For those well intended persons who insist on sharing their headache cure, I smile/nod simultaneously, cut short, and exit quickly. People probably think I have a weak bladder because I always "gotta go".
  17. Add me to the list of Tomamax haters. I was disoriented and lost my balance frequently, too. I hope your still doing well and don't resort to this drug - you probably won't be doing much in the area of crosstraining if you do.Â
  18. As a teenager, I played a lot just for fun. My "baseball in the eye" incident put an end to the guys in town allowing me to practice with their team. This stupid eye has been nothing but trouble from the very beginning! As far as exercise affecting my CH's, there is absolutely no pattern for me. In my pre-02 days, I used to go for a run or use a punching bag when the headaches hit hard. I'm not sure if it helped abort them or if it just helped me to cope. Since I've become chronic, my CH's have no preference as to whether I'm sleeping or working out - they'll come on during either.Â
  19. ;D Not exactly my words, but close enough! Keep grinning - let's keep them guessing! Happy trailing, colemonster!
  20. If I cannot even pronounce the name "Fuster Cluckers" right in my mind, how am I supposed to be able to say it out loud?!?!?
  21. Life Isn't Fair, Just thinking about you and hoping your holding up. So many of us hang on for the sake of our kids. Being a single parent can be overwhelming and then adding CH's into the mix can leave us feeling like we've been pounded into the ground. Keep pressing forward. You'll have many, many more good days with your son. It sounds like he has a great dad!
  22. Welcome! I thought mine was due neck problems (car wreck) or from getting hit with a baseball in the eye when I was younger.  I hope you find success with your seeds. Keep fighting - you've got some wonderful support on this site.Â
  23. Welcome! I'm no pro, but I'll share my experience thus far. I've been trying to bust since July. Sometimes I get one or two days PF then the shadows settle in. They always graduate to full blown hits by mid week. I've been chronic for several years so it's my understanding that it may take longer for me to make the kill. I hope your CH's battle is short - that would be so amazing! Please keep us posted on your progress. The same thing happened to me. I didn't have any clusters at all while pregnant. I did have an epidural with both my girls. Clusters hit hard and heavy about three days after they were born. That was a new mom gift I would have rather not received! There's no need to apologize. Every one of us here, sufferers and supporters alike, have had days when we are exhausted and feel beyond desperate. As far as your redose - I'm sure one of the more experienced members will answer soon. I believe your going to have to wait a few days. I'm going through the same hell - I just can't shake these things. It's pure torture, but at least I don't feel like a prescription toxic dump. It seems to be a bad time of year for many of us.Â
  24. I've had one while in a boat before, too. It was such a desparate feeling! I was totally unprepared and there's no where to pace! I scared all the fish away. BTW, I can back up a trailer - it just doesn't always end up exactly where I want it to go. It takes me about 3 (okay...maybe more like 4 or 5..) tries.
  25. Sidekickkk is sitting next to me and just read my post about no CH while prego. She said, "Hey, maybe you should get pregnant!". Noooooooooo! I definitely don't think that's the answer. I like seeing my feet!
