  3. To my second family here on the busters: First let me say I'm not looking for a pitty party here, but want to explain why I'm asking for some assistance. Soooo... I'm in the process of getting a divorce it's been extremely stressful and I have come to the realization that my wife has been doing her best to get me to leave for years. I won't go into details, but sufice it to say she has some deep issues that I can't solve for her, she has to fix them before she'll ever be happy. I on the other hand I'm a positive energy, happy, ready to go do something new and exciting kind of guy! I've made a few resolutions: 1) I'm buying a Red Corvette once the papers are signed! (no joke 2) I'm getting a dog (I love dogs but 'she' hates them) 3) I'm getting a tat (here's where I need your help). Nothing big, but I want it to be meaningful. I saw the calf tat of the CH graphic from the last busters conference and had thought about that once before, but would like something unique. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Something that has to do with CH, psylo, etc. Please help by throwing out some ideas! I'll donate $100 to the CB board for whoever has the best ideas. (ok I'll be doing that anyway just cuz I love you guys and am so thankful for all the direction and help I've received here!) Love you guys and gals! Please post some ideas! Jeff

  8. Ting, Isn't it a great new beginning we have! For anyone that hasn't read it "7 Habits of Highly Effective People" is a stellar personal growth book. The decision to make your own direction is habit #1. From a writeup on the book: "Habit 1 discusses the importance of being proactive. Covey states that we are responsible for our own lives; therefore, we possess the initiative to make things happen. He also points out that proactive people so not blame various circumstances for their behaviors but they realize behavior comes from one's conscious. Covey also explains that the other type of person is reactive. Reactive people are affected by their social as well as physical surroundings. This means that if the weather is bad, then it affects their behavior such as their attitude and performance." Basically to be proactive is to decide how you want to feel and not allow moods to be reactive. Having a proactive mindset puts life in perspective, and allows one to focus on what's improtant instead of always reacting! Glad you're well Ting!!! I enjoy reading your posts. Jeff
  9. Quite barbaric given the simplicity and effectivness of seeds and shrooms... I only wish those that would have their head or mouth cut open for these brain or nerve stimulation treatments would be given the chance of trying seeds or shrooms first. :'( Jeff
  10. Ting, That's great you're sharing the knowledge!! Helping one other CH person at a time. If we all do that, it adds up to a lot of lives saved and enriched by helping others be pain free! Jeff
  11. thebushman, I think you'll hear a near unanamous voice of those experienced on this site, that what's worked best for most of us is: 1) Safely stop use of all dr presribed abortives (particularly Imitrex) 2) Use 100% O2 as an abortive (15lpm or greater) 3) Seeds or shrooms to terminate the cycle taken at 5 day interivals. Hope this helps, Jeff
  12. Boy, am I getting old... Had to read it three times before I got it.. ha... Jeff
  13. Well he certainly could have offered Ting some cheese fondue... Jeff
  14. Cmon Racer... Gotta use the good stuff. Starbucks all the way...
  15. I prefer the espreso myself (cream no sugar)....
  16. You may need to up the seeds dose. I've previously gotten relief from seeds at levels where I could just 'feel' them. (others have been successful at lower doses though) Jeff
  17. That sounds awesome. You must be one of the few women out there with that 'adventure' itch. Your hubby is lucky Ting already taking control of the relationship... [smiley=laugh.gif] Jeff
  18. I'm in for ride sharing! If nothing else just for the fun of it! Road trip!!!! Jeff
  19. soooo... For a standard SCUBA regulator to go over 40% EAN (Oxygen). They have to be rebuilt using special seals and parts that don't react with the higher concentration of O2 (I called a divemaster friend). So far I'm pretty sure I can get the cost well under $200, for a first, and second stage O2 clean regulators, rebuild kit and 6 foot of high pressure hose, and fittings. I'll keep everyone in the loop as my experiment progresses. As for the mouth piece: A few options are available. 1) The rubberpiece could be removed and that leaves just a 3/4" oval disk that can be easily used w/o the rubber. 2) The outside of the mouthpiece could be trimmed back to allow for about 1.25 inches of rubber sticking out 3) The mouthpiece can just be used on the outside of the lips instead of putting in your mouth. Jeff
  20. I got your back next year Dan! [smiley=thumbsup.gif] Jeff
  21. Ting, I look forward to meeting you next year in Vegas! I promise not to eat too much cheese in front of you As for the road trips. I'm game to fly somewhere and tag team driving with someone. (Like most other CH'ers I prefer to drive, but it's too far from Tampa) Jeff
  22. So...... Would those cluster heads out there be ok with using a regulator you put in your mouth instead of a mask for demand O2? (would waste even less O2 than a demand mask). A person would have to breathe in their mouth. Exhale could be either nose, mouth or both (or neither if you can accoplish it.    Input? I know a guy, that knows a guy, that knows a guy that designs way cool $hit.... I'd bet I could throw a few chocolate bars at him to design me something economical for us CH'ers.... Jeff
  23. I didn't know all the cluster babes, were actual babes... Definitely gotta make it next year. Jeff
