Watched the important parts... Got sick to my stomach the way the Dr treated the guy with CH... Exactly the same I've been treated every visit to the emergency room. It actually hurt to watch that part. Thankfully I self diagnosed with the help of the internet about 11 years ago and my dr. agreed when presented with a printout of CH symptoms, and then a quick followup with a neurologist. Salander wow, that's expensive... And for something that already makes up 21% of the air we breathe every day our entire lives is crazy... Apria definitely gets my thumbs down... They picked up the three tanks today and dropped a bill for $262. I should charge them for storage of the tanks!! Their billing is even more messed up than that. The driver tried picking up a 15 lpm regulator that mysteriously ended up on my bill, they NEVER gave me. On a good note the local welding gas supplier will exchange a 150 cf welding gas cylinder with oxygen for only $21 .. Wahoo... That's equal to about 4 'E' tanks. It's a no brainer now... over $1,200 a year to get a few small loaner tanks or $21 to fill a large tank I own and can keep as long as I want (until I never need it.. :) ) My only other expense is to pickup an O2 clean regulator for use with the new tank. So I've not needed them in some time, but had three empty "E" tanks laying around so thought I should get them filled. Just incase a cycle snaps on me from left field, I'd be ready. (Thus far regular dosing has kept the attacks COMPLETELY away.. yahooo) A few weeks ago I contacted Apria here in Tampa, FL to exchange out three tanks. (I think I just ran into what others have been reporting...) I've always just payed about $8 to $10 per exchange, one time charge. Got a bill a few days ago for $150... Called them and they told me they now only RENT "E" tanks for $30 a month and my insurance now won't cover E tanks for clusters. WTF.... They expect me to put a Fing "M" tank in my car??? If I milk it, I can get an E to last three attacks, but no way I'm paying $90 a month just to have a few tanks laying around incase I get hit... I'll be dropping these three sealed tanks off at Apria... Likely I'm about to go the welding gas route.... PFW, Jeff

Clusterfec, After purchasing from about 6 different vendors / people. I finally found fresh seeds from someone actually in Hawaii selling Hawaiian Baby Woodrose. EVERYONE on the internet says they have fresh seeds, but VERY few are actually fresh. The float test definitely increases the chances of dosing with better seeds, but by no means gurantees your seeds are fresh. From articles I've read the LSA in seeds significantly degrades after 6 months from harvest. So while seeds may sink and/or grow in the spring you can asume any seeds harvested in the fall will have no psychoactive chemicals after April or beyond the next year. PFW, Jeff

ClusterDad, I think you'll find the seeds will work if you can get fresh ones. Problem I've found is most RC and HBWR on the internet are NOT fresh. While the seeds may grow for a few years after being harvested the chemical that treats our CH is only active for a few months after being harvested. I've had to go through multiple, mutliple, multiple, multiple purchases before I found active seeds. Did I mention I had to buy a LOT of seeds before finding active ones. :'( PFW, Jeff

ThisorThat, Wish I could provide some direction, but many cycles are different in how they end, not only differnt between people but different between cycles of the same person. I've had cycles just go away one day. Others have gone away slowly only to snap back and last an extended period. Best thing in my opinion would be to do a series of busting's 5 days apart. Three maybe even four, and if your eposodic, very likely your cycle will be terminated at that point. PFW, Jeff

Jimmys, I'm selling new hypothalimus glands now. Please wire 500k to 555.. Expect your new hypothalimus to arrive in 5 to 10 busines days... Which seeds did you get? Hawaiian Baby Woodrose (HBWR), or Rivea Corymbosa, (RC). There's a HUGE difference in dosing between them. You'll want to start by being very conservative on which ever you have. I wouldn't recommend any more than 4 HBWR as a start. As opposed to RC I think many start around 25 (RC ONLY). O2 O2 O2. Did I mention O2 really works better as an abortive than anything else the dr can presribe. Once you can detox from the big pharma junk, (using O2) I'm sure you'll find like the rest of us here, that busting using mushies or other psychidellics works better than anything for aborting cycles (or even better, preventing them!) Tucker, You can use a dehydrator (with the heat turned off) or just put on a paper towel under a ceiling fan or regular fan on low. After about 24 to 48 hours you'll want to put in a sealed container with dry dessicant (will remove the last bit of moisture). They need to be cracker dry otherwise any moisture not removed will make them start to rot. You might also want to seal them and put in the freezer for long term storage, so you're always ready if the beast returns outside a regular cycle. PFW, Jeff

Oscar, yes, if you're not in cycle, you should be fine. Good idea to bust before your vacation. That should give you good piece of mind the beast will stay away. I'm sure you already know this, but don't fly within 24 hours of diving. It's completely separate from our CH, but you certainly don't want nitogen bubbles to form while flying at the lowered air pressure. You would need to get certified for diving Nitrox, as it has some particular dangers mostly only related to deeper diving. (high oxygen concentrations cause nervous system damage at certain depths depending on the O2 mix). The bonus of diving Nitrox is you generally feel better after diving and you can stay down much longer before hitting your deco limits, due to the reduced nitrogen disolved in your blood.
