RSoxGuy, If you have taken up to 100 RC seeds with not effects at all. I'd suspect the seeds were old. Try ordering from another vendor. It seems there are more old seeds out there than fresh ones. PFW, Jeff

toostrike, Welding oxygen is the exact same as medical is the same same as aviators oxygen. http://www.avweb.com/news/pelican/182079-1.html Pilots have been refilling their aircraft oxygen with welding oxygen for years. Not had any aircraft falling out of the sky either. Perfectly safe, and CHEAP.. $180 to purchase a 150cf steel tank $50 for an O2 clean welding regulator Use either an Opti2 or non-rebreather mask My refills are only $21 for 150cf. That's less than 1/10th of what I would have to pay for medical oxygen, and NO prescription is needed. PFW, Jeff

All, So I've recently been thinking more and more of posting a question here regarding dating. Back in Jan my divorce was final and I've been dating off and on. Two women I've dated ended in direct regards to my CH (as did my 11 year marriage). One person I was seeing for a month or so, when I told her of my CH. She completely started ignoring my email / texts. I'm guessing she did some research and decided she didn't want anything to do with it. Everything was fine before that. The other person was more interested in taking my medicine... I won't bother to elaborate. ha... I've been pain free and pretty much on cloud 9 (whatever "Cloud 9" really means. ha) for most of the last two and a half years, due to my preventative dosing. 110% of the time I have a positive attitude and am just enjoying the heck out of life for the most part. But,,, obviously something is missing. At this juncture I'm unsure that I even want to date someone without CH or at least understands what it is, BEFORE going out. I guess this is turning into more of an discussion / vent than a question. PFW, Jeff

CH Kire, I didn't see mention of O2 or energy drinks in your tool belt you described above. Those will significantly help reduce your pain level and length of attacks. You can order RC or HBWR seeds immediately, to help terminate your current cycle. Otherwise your microscopy study will likely come too late to help with your cycle. tooStrike, If you don't have insurance: I'd think maybe your best / cheapest treatment is with Energy Drinks / O2 (welding oxygen) for attacks and LSA Seeds to break your cycle. PFW, Jeff

ahhhh, let me shed more light on the SCUBA tanks. SCUBA tanks are normally used with compressed air 21% oxygen, mostly nitrogen and some other trace gasses. They can (and most modern divers do) use a NITROX mix which most SCUBA shops can blend. A NITROX mix increases the O2 up to 99%. BUT and a big BUT... All tanks, lines and regulators have to be O2 clean. Normal gear is only O2 clean and cerified up to 40% O2 MAX. Therefore 99% of SCUBA shops will only fill NITROX (or commonly called EAN - Enriched Air Nitrox) up to 40%. There's a HUGE liability if they fill greater than 40%. (as O2 reacts violently in higher concentrations with some materials) Also a few issues you would run into with SCUBA tanks. #1 - You would have to be a certified EAN diver to get fills up to 40%. #2 - You would have to be a certified Technical Diver to get blends over 40%. SCUBA shops will not fill tanks unless you're certified #3 - You couldn't get the tanks filled at any regular gas distributor. #4 - You would have to use a SCUBA regulator as the K-Valve or DIN Valve, on SCUBA tanks won't work with medical masks. #5 - Blended SCUBA air is significantly more expensive than welding gas. (I pay $10 for an 80 cubic foot 40% EAN mix, as opposed to $21 for a 150 cubic foot 100% O2 welding gas tank). To get a blend from a SCUBA shop over 40% EAN is normally around $40 and up for technical gas mixes for only 80cf. Feel free to post this on the other board. Anyone running out and buying a SCUBA tank would be waisting their money. PFW, Jeff

Spiny... ROFL.. The same RC and HBWR seeds we order and grind up. They also grow... (ok enough sarcasm. Even the ones that are too old to work for our CH treatment will grow for a few years after being harvested (long after the LSA has gone). I started the seeds inside in a few paper dixie cups and potting soil. Oh, I remember one note I found on the internet somewhere. You HAVE to score the seed casing or they won't absorb water and grow. I think 100% of those I started grew. First score the seed casing with a file and put in a shot glass of water. Let soak for 24 to 48 hours. You'll see the ones that are absorbing water will swell up. Those that aren't scored good enough will stay small. Once they swell about 2X their normal size then transfer to the cups with potting soil. They start growing slow, but once transplanted outside in 8 weeks or so, they take off like kudzu.... On a side note a few years ago I did grow some RC and HBWR. I started about 8 RC plants from seeds. After two years I had a monster of vines taking over everything. By the end of the second year not even a hint of any flowers. It was just growing and growing... I decided to cut it down. I'm guessing the soil doesn't have the correct makeup to stimulate flowering around here. Exact same thing from about 6 HBWR vines. Nothing after two years, it got the axe.. (well pruning snips.. bb, There's definitely lots of places to buy RC, but most are old and ineffective. I've bought from 5 or 6 vendors and all were too old / had no active chemicals. I eventually found some HBWR that had active chemicals, and they were definitely effective in terminating a cycle a few years ago. I gave up trying to find fresh RC. Too bad there isn't a simple LSA test that can be run to gage the chemical content of seeds we receive PFW, Jeff

Diverdown, I don't know if anyone can provide first hand drug test information, other than the regurgitated internet searches. Standard tests don't screen for Psylocybin, and the tests that do, are only effective for a few days post dose. On the dosing, I've found that I get a very uncomfortable anxiety with low doses. Upping the dose just a little into the "effects" range, I'm calm and no anxiety (about 1.8g of fungus). I think many here echo your concern about dosing and our jobs. I've not read about anyone having been tested and caught though. (Here's hoping we all can continue the current record PFW, Jeff

Dan, Definitely agree with you. Once upon a time before being properly diagnosed I took tylenol by the handfulls. I knew it was going to blow out my kidneys or liver, but didn't care. Anything to take the pain down a notch. I just got lucky it didn't catch up with me. Remember easily taking 6 to 8+ tylenol at a time. Wonder if the king really had clusters? That might explain his supposed drug use quite a bit. PFW, Jeff
