  1. Happy to call Dan and the rest of you my friends No way I'm missing Vegas in 2012... Just NO ONE watch Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas with your first trip... Bad idea.. ha ha... (you guys and gals might hear me say that a few more times over my span of existence Jeff
  2. All, I would recommend a K-10 definition change in all the earlier mentioned references. Changing "Contemplating Suicide" to "Planning Suicide". A K-9 might have you thinking of Suicide, but at K-10 you're to the point of planning it. (Know from experience, before busting came along). Love you guys and gals! Jeff
  3. Denny, That's completely awesome..... I'm getting you to help with my next house!! Jeff
  4. Maybe some day, but since I've not seen the quack.. (um. er.. I mean Doctor) since I started busting I've not had the opprotunity to tell him... 8-) Jeff
  5. Anthony, In some of my earlier reading I saw there are others that have your same experience. Apparently some people have the opposite reaction to GABA. If I recall correctly it increases with dose. Maybe down the dose some?? Lt2, glad to hear no breast size increases. Jeff
  6. Holy cow, Spiny... You live in a village? like with village people? ok, ok, I'll stop there. Jeff
  7. Love ya Ting!!! I can't agree more. My life is unbelievably better now!!! Jeff
  8. All, Not sure everyone should run out and start taking GABA. It looks like it plays a role in neuro transmitters being hyper active, but there also seems to be a lot of other drugs and supplements that can interoperate with it. I've had niacin flush and it can be pretty scary. GABA can have a similar reaction. Be careful.... Given some of us are on other supplements or prescriptions... Here is a very thorough article on GABA: www DOT denvernaturopathic.com/news/GABA.html LT2, Let us know if you breasts start to grow bigger From this article and most of the other articles I grazed everyone seems to say don't operate machinery or drive while taking GABA. (not sure about flying???) Everything I grazed definitely says it has a sedative effect. Not to harp here but it seems like GABA combined with alcohol will lower reaction times and that might not be so good for a pilot. Maybe low doses in conjunction with busting??? Might a low dose increase the effectiveness of busting?? Thinking out loud here. Jeff
  9. Mystina, I just laughed out loud... I once had a head injury when I was in the Army. When the doctors got around to looking at me they saw the blood pouring from the side of my head and ear. This guy promptly grabs a queue tip one of those with the wooden stick on it, and asks to his cohort. "Do you think it went through his ear"... Just like I wasn't in the room. And you guessed it. Before I could say anything, I felt a searing pain as he pushed the queue tip through my ear... Then I hear "yep it sure does, goes right through and into the back of his head..." WTF.. It didn't take pushing a queue tip through my head to see that, Dr Dumb A$$... ha.... Jeff
  10. The big drug companies are curently making Toooo much money off all the other crap the doctors presribe for CH... Hell imitrex alone I think is around $30 per shot. When I took imitrex shots I think my copay was around $30 for a two shot pack. Likely the full price is much more than $30 per shot. For them to decide "Heck, let's help these people and cut a few billion from our net company profit... Yea, that's a good idea"... I'd like to stay positive about legalizing fungus or bringing Bol148 to market, but big business makes decisions based on profit, not helping people... Sad but true. Jeff
  11. Prior to being introduced to O2 and Busting, I was fired from more than one job... One, working for Microsoft I'm glad I lost looking back. There isn't a less caring employer that I've ever seen than them!! That was before being properly diagnosed. I think mostly due to lack of sleep, I was constantly irritable, angry and just couldn't think straight when I was having "those headaches again". I still have a hard time accepting that of all the emergency room visits and doctors I saw NONE properly recognized CH!! I self diagnosed when searching on the web and found references to CH. All my symptoms matched exactly. Printed it and took to my family doctor. His reaction - hey that does look like what's wrong. You need to see a neurologist.... (WTF... ha..) I think I'm coming up on about 8 years now with the same employer (major bank). I've explained CH (with the help of the letter from the CH website) to two managers now. They have been extrememly understanding. I don't use my CH as an excuse, but when things have gotten bad, I don't hesitate to tell my manager that I'm in a cycle. I explain that if I have to abrupty leave any meetings it's because I have to get to my O2 quickly and will be back as quickly as I can. It's truely been a blessing to have had the last two managers that aren't A-holes.... I've had many in the past that are... Jeff
  12. Ting, That's awesome!!! I'd love to do the same some day. Doctors need if even brief, some education on CH!! Jeff
  13. Go Fungus! Pain Free Days Ahead! Jeff
  14. I could do 75 to 85 for the right company Might be a good opportunity to visit friends in Knoxville and Chattanooga on the way back. (I grew up in Chattanooga). I spent a few vacations as a kid around the Hiawassee. It's a beautiful drive through there. Jeff
  15. Go fungus!!!!!! Painfree days ahead I can feel it!! On the dose I might recommend slightly different than others. #1 set and setting. Make sure you're in good company. And not someone like my to be ex wife, that comes in to talk about her uncles funeral while in the middle of a dose. I weathered the conversation easily, but could have gone a bad direction, with her uncaring attitude... #2 If you can measure the exact dose (precision scale and empty caplets) I found taking about .15 grams about 20 minutes apart works well for me (zero stomach upset, not sure if others have any). On an empty stomach I start to feel something fairly quickly. When I start feeling some definite effects I stop taking anymore. Usually around 1.2g, but I think the amount is variable based on age of fungus, type of fungus, body weight, how long since last meal etc. (I'm 200lb, but a lightweight when it comes to fungus). About 4 to 4 and a half hours later I'm back to no effects. I'm guessing by taking a little at a time, I'm able to keep my dose as low as possible but reach the point of getting the positive effects w/o going to deep or long on the trip. My goal being to take enough to squash the CH, but no more than necessary to accomplish that. Good luck and PF times ahead!!!! Fungus is a complete game changer for CH!! Jeff
  16. DC is road trip-able from FL... Any carpoolers out there? I drive a crew cab truck with lots of room... (oh, and I'll have O2 tanks in the tool box. ha. ha..) Jeff
  17. All of the above!!! ditto... I'm such a better person in my skin since busting. It's no doubt treated more than just the pain of CH. Jeff
  18. Spiny, Keep to it! You'll come out ahead, I know it...! O2+RC or fungus PFW! Jeff
  19. my 2c = O2 + Fungus Any instruction on how to do the needles? I have needle phobia (more or less). The last two tooth fillings I had done, I did without anestetic because I couldn't stand the thought of a needle getting jammed into my jaw. That said I'm sure the needle trick is much better than a 9mm to the temple if one was in that dark place... (BTW: I'm still PF since my last dose in July/Aug!!!) Thank you fungus and CB!!!! Jeff
  20. SCUBA Sailing Spearfishing Creating prototypes of things no one wants (but are cool anyway!) Jeff
  21. ok, so I don't want to buck anyone's recommendations with the RC, but... From prior reading I've done that applies to all the halucinagenic substances: There's somewhat of a possibility that halucinagenic substances can trigger latent or previously resolved psychological issues. Not that the latent problem will only surface during the treatment, but that it will remain after the effects of the drug has worn off. I think similar to the way the chemicals help turn OFF our CH switch, they in parallel can turn ON a Bipoloar or similar switch. I certainly feel for anyone that's chronic. I don't think I could take being chronic at the pain levels my eposodic CH goes to. Jeff
  22. Zac, I don't mean to be a downer, but from what I've read it seems that busting isn't something someone with a history of psychological challenges should do. Particularly since it seems you have things under control. Just my 2c, hmm re reading I'm thinking it's more like a nickel. Wish I could say somthing else as we all know how CH impacts us all. Jeff
  23. Ricardo, sorry you're having such a hard time of it. I do read a few positive notes through your posts. You're getting some relief from time to time, and the hits aren't quite as bad as they could be. Keep up the fight. Jeff
  24. oh, my gosh..... That's one of the funniest things I think I've ever seen...
  25. Mystina, Hoping today is a great day for you!!!! Jeff
