So glad you made it to to wedding and double glad you didn't get hit by the f---ing beast whilst there . Really sorry it brought back some bad memories,

Feeding tube out today . Intense physio started today ,completely killed her . The pain was so bad and it tired her out so fast bless her , we had a lot of tears and I must admit not just from Terri. The long hard road to recovery has just started today I think . It took 33 days to save her life and finally remove ever tube that was supporting her. My whole family o so much to ever1 that was involved in saving are daughter's life

@BoscoPikothat's exactly what she said she doesn't care what food it is she just wants to taste it and do it for herself bless her
-
@Bejeeberhow did you guess

Well what can I say . Off the critical ward on to the major trauma ward . Talking as normal . Sitting in a chair beside her bed . Causing a major fuss because they won't take her feeding tube out yet
-
All going good. Talking a lot more ,but a lot of it doesn't really make sense at the moment . Bless her she thinks she's in Benidorm in Spain ,but then the next moment she knows that she is in hospital after an accident . She keeps asking for orange juice but she is still on a feeding tube so we can only let her have a spoon full at a time ,gonna check her throat tomorrow and may take feeding tube out . Also hoping to move her off critical ward tomorrow . My girl is so strong to have got this far but also down to all preyers sent from you guys

Some scientists are working to develop molecules based on psychedelics that provide the therapeutic benefits of the drugs but without the hallucinations God I hope not only joking would be an amazing thing if they can -
GREAT NEWS my daughter's operation was a success. Really long recovery starts from know bless her . Still not awake yet could take a bit of time for that to happen . She was under really deep sudation for 10 day but she could also wake tomorrow . 1 more operation on her shoulder but as the surgeon said that can wait
-
Daughter doing so much better . Off all sedation hoping she wakes soon . Still got this massive op on her pelvis and hip which is going ahead tomorrow . Thanks for all you love and prayers
-
Omg no @Bejeebernot my youngest . My eldest daughter she is 31 years old . What makes it worse is she has a little 8year old boy . They have both lived with us for the last 5 years since she split up with her fella
-
Just a quick update on my daughter . Firstly I will let you know what happened . Terri was walking home the early hours of Saturday morning and got hit by a lorry whilst crossing the road . She has multiple injury the most major being her brain plus shattered pelvis hip and spline is split in half . Surgeon's tried to operate last Wednesday but during the op the pressure in her brain rose so high they had to stop the op . So we know wait again . She is still in an induced coma at present but hoping to wake her up this weekend . Going to attempt to operate on her pelvis and hip next wednesday

Don't won't any1 to think I've just vanished ,or forgot them I won't be around for a bit could be for a long bit , my daughter has been involved in a accident and is on life support . I'm normally pretty active on this forum and I don't won't any of my buddy's, ie bej , spiny, Bosco or CHfather or Jono to think I've just disappeared. But back when I can . Love to all , keep pain free

I had 1 attack in front of my new Neuro, and all he did was ask me to remove my mask as im trying to abort it with o2,so I could answer his questions.
-
@BoscoPikoso true I remember going to A&E loads of times and all they wanted to give me was morphine at stupid doses just to shut me up . I'd be back in A&E 5 or 6 hours later with another attack , and again pump me full of morphine , but when I end up in A&E 5 times in 3 days they start throwing around this drug addict theme and that I haven't really got anything wrong with me . Oh and by the way morphine does f--- all for CH pain
-
Oh yes @jon019ive been accused of being a drug addict on a few visits to the Emergency department in my time . Just so glad I don't have the need for the place anymore .
-
Wow please don't increase varapamil without your neuro's say so . It's so dangerous every increase you need to get an ECG done as it's a blood pressure medication and can give you heart block . Get on the D3 vitamin regimen it works wonders . Can't really add anything else as @BoscoPiko and @spinyand @CHfather as always have covered everything expertly. Really hope you find what works for you . 1 thing I will tell you is you have found a great community of people here , sufferers and carers who all understand what your going through and we are all here to help .
