  1. Wow, that bold clusterhead interviewing Bob is a real personality, Bob did a great job of dispensing info, and that was overall one helluva segment - both this site and Vitamin M got called out (!!!!!). Loved it.
  2. Home PERMANENTLY before Christmas??!! What incredibly good news Shaun, so glad to hear it. Does she continually astound with her progress or what?!!
  3. That sounds similar to what we call shadows. Very common for Clusterheads. Switching sides is known to occur also, but I don't recall hearing of another instance where it switched following the very first attack. That's a really good thing. Not everyone manages that, so good on you @NickMirk!
  4. I say Amen to the above snappy quotable. This is a bit off topic, and potentially a thread jacking type of comment, so feel free to ignore, but folks such as yourself who can get a break from CH with high dose prednisone can typically also knock out their CH for very long periods of time via busting, as described at the blue "New Users - Please Read Here First" banner at the top of the page here, if you haven't considered such yet.
  5. WHAT!? That is just huge @Shaun brearley - everybody must be pretty much over the moon over this development.
  6. I hadn't even realized a concentrator could go up to 10 lpm (I never tried one). In my earliest cycles as a clusterhead, I found that 10 lpm (from a tank) could somehow abort attacks for me if caught at onset, but of course that went right out the window toot sweet, and next thing you know I was having to huff O2 at 25+ lpm with a trash bag sized reservoir.
  7. @ThatHurtsMyHead, if you see me tagging you here, checking whether you have any idea why some of our MVPs have found themselves on the wrong end of the above thoroughly cuckoo and mystifying restriction?
  8. The xray: Oh man, the horror of the original extreme trauma and the wonder of modern medicine, all in one 'worth thousands of words" photo.
  9. Oh! Can you tell I've disgracefully and sadly never set foot, let alone driven, in the UK? My main point of reference for those pesky kilometers has been some driving in Canada, whee kph were on speed limit signs and junk all over the place, but thankfully at least they drove on a familiar side of the road. So now I finally know: "Britain is officially metric, in line with the rest of Europe. However, imperial measures are still in use, especially for road distances, which are measured in miles."
  10. Five?! Mind boggling that that's even possible - definitely sounds like an art/science combo had to be applied and then some in order to somehow pull that off. It also sounds like now the metal detectors will be seeing her coming from a mile kilometer away!
  11. Knowing the pelvis was seriously shattered , please tell us this x-ray showed some real repair/recovery?
  12. When it comes right down to it so would I, so no judging from me on that front @Shaun brearley!
  13. Woohoo!!! There will undoubtedly be some featured speakers on the bill, and if there's still time to get one more scheduled, I nominate @Shaun brearley to cover the specific topic (I'm serious here!) of: "The dual cluster remission and house tidiness benefits of tripping hard on LSD" Hey Ainslie Course, who is putting this conference on, is all about this kind of stuff, and Lord knows a combination of levity, plus your inspiring success story for sending the cluster bunny packing, is something I know I'd find entirely riveting!
  14. Man it's good to see the party time rockin'! Wait - it looks like there was even booze involved - if you are personally partaking, @Shaun brearley, we know you really must still have the cluster bunny on the run. Not sure if this Glasgow conference would be within striking distance for you, but in case you hadn't seen it yet: CLUSTERBUSTERS 1st Annual U.K./European Conference
  15. I've seen many others report much the same as @BoscoPiko on this subject.
  16. Boco Piko, CBWN (Cluster Bunny's Worst Nightmare)
  17. Whoa, thanks @BoscoPiko, I hadn't seen this before. I feel all puffed up, haughty, and semi-validated now for having adopted the Thorne brand multivitamin (listed as one of the best brands), while the Kirkland brand oft cited for the D3 regimen doesn't receive such high marks: ------------------------------------ Brands that people think are high-quality multivitamins but are not: Flintstones multivitamins One-A-Day multivitamins Centrum multivitamins Nature Made multivitamins Store brands like Kirkland vitamins or Equate vitamins Mega Food multivitamins There may still be some quality products within these brands, but their multivitamins contain lots of no-no ingredients.
  18. Yes, this is how so many of us have reported it is effective (and often the only way it is effective) - you wanna catch the attack near onset.
  19. I'm not a doctor or nursing staff but that indeed sounds dismissive and just wrong.
  20. Horrible. Really sorry to hear you got hit with this @RunnersHi. I can't say I recall others reporting such symptoms during a CH attack, and I'm with @BoscoPiko regarding whether they did some testing - CT, MRI or whatever might be done for such symptoms?
  21. That off limits area broaching Anatoly has to be about the most beautiful 100% RASCAL I've ever seen.
  22. It looks like Lucy had some of the most serious fun EVER doing that. And the snowplowing maneuver sounds like it could even be a technique for aborting CH attacks or shadows. Who amongst the Northerners or high elevationers wants to try first, come the rapidly encroaching wintertime?
  23. AND I have a cousin who dressed his Dachshund up with big side panel hot dog buns for a Halloween costume. (FYI US lingo finds Dachshunds routinely referred to as 'Weiner' dogs).
  24. Oh lordy that does sound truly unsightly. We knew a gal who had a "chi-weenie" (that's what they really call them in the US) - an apparently intentional cross between Dachshund and Chihuahua.
