Man I all I can think to say is "Aughhhhh!" Have been pulling for Dallas "Hell and Back, Several Times" Denny to make it through in a reasonable facsimile of one piece. It seems that phase is complete....now for the good juju* to really kick in for the significant relief you've got coming, so you can fully exploit those longevity genes that found your dad living so impressively long, and you can enjoy a good nuther 3 decades or so without this manner of BS! * That's how I roll

Between the weather in St. Thomas and the "special" rum punch elixir served at the Bomba Shack there (back in the day anyway), I have to think @spiny indeed just suggested the ultimate cluster bunny suppressing combo platter. Obviously we do all need to move directly there immediately if not sooner, without passing go or collecting 200 slammers.

If your weather in north Texas is anything like mine in central Texas, I suppose the violent storms and/or frequent weather that threatens such can't be all that great for those with barometric sensitivities. My hope is that your busting will fully adjust you to the new barometer!

All I can say is I've lived for years in each of these places, and of those, the weather is just ridiculously the best at the beach communities in San Diego. It only requires that you be a double zillionaire in order to afford retiring comfortably there. L.A. (incredibly mild weather at the beaches) San Diego (the most unbelievably mild weather in the continental US at the beaches) Seattle (Meh, it's OK weather-wise) Nashville (Love it to death, but the #1 worst on my weather list) Austin (close runner up to Nashville for volatile weather)

Her dog friends come by to visit her at her deluxe mobile accommodations! It'll be great day when she decides she's ready to exit the vehicle and do some park roamin'. She's a beauty, nice gray muzzle and all.

A lil' boot can't hold Abby back! Congrats on somehow making it through to the real bed promised land! I'm familiar with the bed-ramp-for-dog routine, and it's nice when you can occasionally decommission the contraption, "raise the drawbridge" style, at times when no dawgs are welcome. That sure can peeve them off though.
-
Please. Tell us Abby has recovered from all the tendon drama and has gotten back to a normal level of hogging the bed all night.

Am I Shooting Myself in the Foot-(Supplement Intake Question)
Bejeeber replied to BoscoPiko's topic in General Board
Now that yer foot's OK @BoscoPiko , hoping you're keeping those shadows under enough control? These are the closest to a "terribly nervous" emoji I'm finding amongst the lot: -
And that's where they helpfully suggest some Tylenol for the clusters, because they just heard the word 'headache'. Well that's been my experience when not having attempted to educate them on what CH is, but @Racer1_NC I bet you've made better efforts to clue them in.
-
That's a good question - since this doctor is unlikely to know much of anything about CH or be able to conceptualize pain on a CH scale, I figure your best bet for communicating effectively with such a doc could be to try to go with a 'normal' scale of 1 to 10, not CH 1 to 10.

I think the kicker here is that you're pulling her leg about her foot. Or maybe I should just hot foot it on out of here with the sad pun attempts - as if CH'ers aren't in enough pain already. -

More bearable sounds a bit encouraging, but oof, hate to hear of you finding yourself on the defense. Hoping the cluster bunny will find the upcoming RC bust so offense-ive, it decides to just hop on outa there. And while we're dreaming up fatty foods to eat in the morning that are good for you, based on our own preferences, I'm gonna say: Avocado. -

For some CH'ers (which has to really suck!), but not all. -

Plus it is the most incredibly desirable around the clock taste treat, whether first thing in the morning, right before bed, or even waking up in the middle of the night to have a bunch (I have no ties to the Peanut Growers Marketing Council of America, just a superfan). When eating certain types of peanut butter (like natural) straight off the spoon though, be advised to have a glass of water handy so as not to choke on the stuff, and be prepared for the leaving of peanuty lip marks all over the rim of said glass. -

Ooh that's another good, snappy quotable - it contains all the qualities of hyped self deprecation that I too enjoy indulging in on occasion. -

Yes, but only with a sawed off shotgun. Really I'm just going by what I've seen expert types say, such as is copied below, without having gone into a deep dive on the subject myself, so I would sure defer to @xxx in a heartbeat regarding this or anything else related to the D regimen. Fat-soluble vitamins A, D, E and K are better absorbed when you have them with a meal or snack that contains at least a teaspoon of fat (about 5 grams of fat). The same goes for your multivitamin, which contains these vitamins. -
Highly distressing to hear of multiple health issues for our beloved Jon "His-own-worst-critic" 019. Can only hope that multiple reliefs may be found, stat. Meantime know our hearts and minds are right back atcha and with ya.
-
Yer not alone - I've become concerned about the absence of @jon019 as of late myself.

Wow what a dramatic, positive response to the gabapentin, AKA neurontin. CONGRATS! Especially surprising/unusual is how it seems to have taken effect on the first day. Are you still only taking 600mg a day? My experience with gabapentin was it took a good many days to kick in, but when I got to a high dose, coinciding with a high ECH cycle, it cut the frequency of attacks in half. That in turn allowed me to abort all attacks as I rode the cycle out, so it was of real help (since that cycle, I have found vitamin L to have restored busting effectiveness for me, so no need to go back on the gabapentin). While you swear by it, some do swear at it. I get the impression it could be a drug that we find ourselves having especially widely varying individual responses to. When I was on it I could feel that I was on a drug, kind of buzzed-ish, but hard to describe. I kind of enjoyed it, but not like I wanted to stay on it forever. My appetite became unusually ravenous. According to sources including this from NIH (I've only skimmed it) "it is crucial to raise awareness of gabapentin as a potential cause of depression, aggressive behavior, and suicidal ideation" Suicidal ideation in bold print, because it is a bizarre potential side effect that others have noted here, sometimes referred to as a "reverse survival instinct", and can be experienced even without any co-occurring depression or other distress (!!!). I caution anyone on gabapentin to watch out for this, and to resolutely keep in mind it is the drug talking - set any such thoughts to a firm ignore!

I'm going to credit the appendage crossings for your getting through the Red Bull Rehab toot sweet like that.
-
When even Tylenol and ginger don't help, that's some strong withdrawal alright. I'd still hope you could recover relatively quickly following the upcoming cold turkey unpleasantries. All appendages crossed and knocking on wood.
