Hey I was there. Same story. You can get your life back there is hope. Read this whole site the answers are here the support is here. Read through the clusterbuster files and decide on a treatment you are comfortable with. People are here to help. Will they be cured probably not but you can find ways to get more of you life back.

If you have clusters you need to get O2 prescribed by your dr. My suggestion is to read everything on this Web site and decide which treatment options suit you. It's probably best to do this before your next dr. appointment. Knowledge is the key to making this affliction manageable. Know that there are answers to your questions here and support.

Yeah I just use O2 and energy drinks any more but if a big O works ya who am I to judge. Imitrex makes it worse for me in the long run.

The best advice I can offer is to read everything on this site. Find all the evidence you can that points towards cluster headaches. Then once your armed with knowledge make a decision that you feel comfortable with as to a treatment options. Of you find you have clusters thou you must obtain o2. As for the depression I've been there and I find solace knowing the situation is only temporary and there is hope and the people here can help.

My left ear feels plugged and rings like crazy during an attack. It slowly alleviates afterwards. I'm a left side person. Sometime I'll pull my earlobe straight down and it will pop during an attack. But it doesn't subside the rest of the pain.

Those are the symptoms of my shadows. If you don't have any meds yet I would suggest you stock up on energy drinks. They're a good weapon to have in your headache fighting arsenal. Also read everything on this sight because knowledge is the greatest tool and there is alot of knowledge here. Keep asking ? The people here are great and understand what your going through.

Yes I always have o2 on hand. You never know when the beast will show.

My short term memory is terrible when I'm being visited by the beast. It's normal after the ch goes away.

It took me 5 tries with the seeds last episode. I was using 70 seeds with peppermint tea.

Paul I'm the same age and your story sounds like mine minus the puke. There are alot of good answers and people here my best advice is to read as much of these forums here and decide what treatments you are most comfortable with. But definitely get o2. It is a lifesaver. Rh

Oxygen is our saving grace used correctly it will abort a headache 100% of the time for me. Imitrex works but the side effects are more frequent headaches. There is tons of information on this website and many knowledgeable people here to help. Spend an hour or 2 and read everything here. There are other options then lsd that work well.

I can concur any sudden barometric change when in cycle will trigger an attack for me. Unfortunately our state motto is if you don't like the weather wait 5min. Rod

I suck down an energy drink on my way home. Hit the o2 then go back to work. Fortunately I live 2min tops from work.
