Man I all I can think to say is "Aughhhhh!" :(

Have been pulling for Dallas "Hell and Back, Several Times" Denny to make it through in a reasonable facsimile of one piece.

It seems that phase is complete....now for the good juju* to really kick in for the significant relief you've got coming, so you can fully exploit those longevity genes that found your dad living so impressively long, and you can enjoy a good nuther 3 decades or so without this manner of BS!

* That's how I roll :D

You'll do it, Denny.  Another hell for you to pass through and come out stronger on the other side. I know you will.   (I've been there with that neck stuff, so I know hell is not an exaggeration.)

I just escorted my brother, 87 years old, on a return trip to the West Virginia town where he taught at a college for 49 years. (He lives in Cambodia full-time now.)  More than a hundred people came to some events put together in his honor. Some drove from pretty far away, and a few flew in.  Those same kinds of gatherings would greet you if CH people lived in the same place.  Like him, you have meant so much to so many, across a whole lot of years, always giving, always supporting, making connections.  Looking forward to cheering your recovery.

Thank ya'll for your comments, kind words, support, and love!!

Just wanted to provide ya'll with a miraculous update this morning!

I'll never be able to express adequately my gratitude to my surgical team at the hospital and the entire staff at my rehab facility....I am so blessed to have had them in my corner!!!

Neck surgery on June 7th, major back surgery on the 10th, and at 11am this morning, June 21st,.......2 freakin weeks later ya'll.....I'm going to walk to our car under my own power, albeit with the aid of a walker, and my Bride is taking me home to our cabin in the woods!!

Did I mention that I'm blessed beyond belief?!?!???

My love to all

DD

Denny, this is great news!! You may come to call P.T. physical torture in the future. But, it is all worth getting it done now, while you are still a youngster. :wub:

Tell your bride that I said 'Hi!' and 'Thanks'!! She takes great care of you dude.

Have a safe and speedy recovery! May all the faeries help you on your way to perfect health. Sending lots of good juju to you!
