Psychedelic Experience and Meditation
ThatHurtsMyHead replied to yelsew's topic in Research & Scientific News
DD, Wow, very interesting story. I have a story a little similar, but the entity said (without speaking) that he was too busy for me right then, to come back later (seriously) I tried to come back later, but didn't make the same connection. J -
I'm a firm believer there is medicine in the plants all around us, but our "progress" and bogus laws to create profit industries have really hurt our expansion and understanding of how to use nature to our benefit (instead of plowing it over for shopping malls My father was given marinol (synthetic marijuana) to help treat his brain cancer. It helped reduce brain swelling, eased pain and increased his appetite. I had never heard of it and a VERY interesting fact I didn't know before. In Tennessee marijuana is illegal, but somehow the doctors can prescribe the synthetic marinol?? Hmmmm, if all the laws are correct then there should be no medical use for marijuana, and yet there are contradictions all around us... Even states that outlaw marijuana, CBD's etc, all allow the prescription of the synthetics. (I guess as long as the drug companies can get a cut of the $) J

Donnie, Was it the same batch of seeds you had been taking? The seeds start to loose their chemical content and quickly so, right around 6 months old. Try getting fresh seeds and/or try fungus. Fungus is much more consistent in strength and keeps a Loooooong time. J

yea my insurance has gotten worse each year the last 3 years. They stopped covering my O2 in 2012. Thanks to the VA I get my O2 through them for free now. I'd be in hock up to my ears if I not only had to pay for my own meds, but also have to pay the sky high deductible my employers insurance has gone to now. Ins seems a pretty big waste of $ IMHO. They don't cover what a person needs and they try to get out of paying for anything they can. Frozen, Sounds like an opportunity to stock up! J

DrTy2, If someone hasn't told you lately. THANKS! for joining the board and helping those here that can really benefit from your expertise! It's realllllly appreciated J

Bob, So sorry for you and your family's loss. It hurts to hear of a child's passing. He's no longer in pain and I hope the family heals. All One, All Love, J

Vickle, Sorry to hear you're having a bad go of it. Good news is, you can sterilize and start your medicine garden again. Don't forget about adding the energy drinks to your O2 abortive regimen. PFW, J

Huge proponent of Monster in the blue zero carb can! No sugar high / crash. Just all the vitamin B's, Caffeine and Taurine. I sleep like a baby after slamming one after a 1am hit. J

Where is the Clusterbusters method in the website?
ThatHurtsMyHead replied to Tony Only's topic in General Board
Certainly understand needing to ensure the website doesn't follow the format of a "blue light" site. That would give a negative perception to those visiting the site IMHO. How do we get the basic "Start Here for Treatment" documentation put back up? I think people really need to have the step by step documentation else people are just going to leave the site. The site mostly just looks like any of the other hundreds of CH websites that just talk about what CH is. I remember distinctly several years ago when I came to the site. I was able to quickly find and review the doc of what substances, how much, how to prepare, what the expected experience is etc. Those docs can be a life saver for someone in critical need. The medical journal documents are great for supporting information, but they don't provide useful information to help someone get treatment (what, how much, how often, what's expected, etc). Just thinking about how to help people and reduce confusion / frustration. I think we all know how desperate and confused a new person finding the site can be. J -
I think I was #100. . (What's special about 100 signatures, I thought there needed to be something like 100,000 to get the gov to give a response?) J

Enli, I think the chemical content of the seeds, age, and vendor make the effectiveness highly variable. Some dose with 20 seeds others dose with 150+. That said, I'd think starting with a 500 order is a great place to start. Once you remove the floaters you can start with a low dose and adjust as you feel best suits you and how your CH reacts. J

ok, I was asking for that Byuul [smiley=vrolijk_26.gif] J

Why don't they have some of these conferences in FL? From the agenda, I'd love to go to this one. J

Where is the Clusterbusters method in the website?
ThatHurtsMyHead replied to Tony Only's topic in General Board
Tony, I have to agree. I haven't even looked at the website in a very long time. I only come directly to the message board. The main site seems to nearly be sterilized of "busting" information. A few minutes ago I had to dig around to find any mention of it. The old site had something like a "start here" link that reviewed very clearly what busting is, what substances and how to get started. Seems that information is either nowhere to be found, or it's so buried a newcomer might never find it. Most of the information on the new site is just reference material. I wondered why so many people come to the message board asking what "busting" is and how to do it. I had assumed people were being lazy and not reading the "start here" information. I understand why they're a bit in the dark now. J -
Spiny, Ah don't give me that.  I know you're a world class welder. My welds look more like someone splattered the metal on instead of actually welded it. Funny thinking about it, On more than one occasion I've spent more time grinding than welding just so I wasn't so embarrassed of how bad it looked ha ha... I had to invest time in machines because my work by hand looks so bad. ;D I'd love to see something you make one of these days J

Ton, I've got 2ea 3-axis and 1ea 4-axis controllers. Looks like they're about $58 bucks on the market now. http://www.ebay.com/itm/4-Axis-CNC-Stepper-Motor-Driver-Board-Controller-4-Engraving-Machine-3-5A-TB6560-/310894441515?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item4862c0b42b I'd give you all three for $20 each and throw in 3 electronic relays for free. (Think I paid about $120 for each boards and $20 for each relay). I'd just like to seem them go to a good home  You've got me contemplating some gadgets with the Arduino controllers. I have the machines setup so the computer controls not only the 3X axis, but also the machine on/off and the cooling fluid pump on/off. Looks pretty sweet to lock in a piece of metal hit the go button on the Mach3 (the G-Code interpreter I use to run the machines). Then it runs till the part is finished and shuts it's cooling and power off. The Plasma table uses a blowback start on the Plasma torch. Nothing but cool is all I can say... (yea geeked out... ha ha) J
-
Ton, Oh, and I've written some G-Code to operate 3 CNC machines I designed (Mill, Lathe and a 2X5 foot plasma table. I started out with controllers made in China, and paid for that $50 savings by wasting months of time troubleshooting. Changed over to Gecko Controllers and everything worked perfect in less than an hour of tuning. (As a side note, if you want some controllers I'll sell 3, really cheap... ha ha). Precision is just fine for woodwork or something similar, but metalwork needs much closer tolerances than that those controllers could do. J

Ton, They had a ton of Shields listed on the website, but not a single description of what a shield is. I actually learned more reading about components on Amazon in 5 minutes than an hour on their website. Is a shield just a secondary micro-controller used for secondary I/O or I/O expansion? I wrote VB, VBS and some C back in the day. From what I saw in one example it looks similar to VB and simple (from one "hello world" example anyway) I might be dating myself by the reference to Hello World, not many would get that aren't developers here. Timmyy, Any "magic" mushroom should work that has the chemical psilocybin in it. Specifically the strains of Psilocybe cubensis are the most common. To my knowledge the 'other' type of magic mushroom "Fly Agaric does not work as it contains a completely different active chemical. Flay Agaric are what most art work uses to portray magic mushrooms they are usually red with white spots. I'd stay away from any of those. J

Ton, Now that's slick! I don't think I'd use something like that for drying, but my mind is working on 1,000 other things I could use it for. I just did some reading on the Arduino website. It leaves quite a bit to be desired as far as explaining what the board can be connected to. (or if it can be loaded with your program and run autonomously etc.) I've been all over their website and can't find something as simple as a list of Input / Output devices. J

pcguy, Sorry to hear you had to deal with a quack for a doctor. Biofeedback has been tried over and over, over the years and has consistently proven useless for CH. Any DR... that works with CH should know that. He might as well have told you to take two aspirin. Once you 'bust' with the substances discussed on this board, you'll never go back to the script garbage, or surgeons just wanting to cut on peoples brains for money... J

Ripper, I don't think I've noticed anything like that with my attacks. I can tell you my hair follicles hurt like @#$%# during, and for an hour or so after a K10. Don't think I even see straight enough to know what my face looks like. I could imagine skin irritation would be a side effect of the attacks. PFW, J

Moxie, Heck you should know, no apologies are needed. If anything I should apologize to you. My smart @$$ comment about chocolate was meant in good humor, but I know not everyone gets my humor PFW, J

Moxie, After reading your post and timeline, I have to ask. And, why would you eat a chocolate bar instead of nuts or something else? I don't know if chocolate is on your trigger foods list, but I know it's right at the top of the scale with alcohol for triggers for me and many others. From your post you said you had the snickers bar and right after had another attack that was longer and more intense. That's how I eventually figured out chocolate was a BIG trigger for me. Wait a day and try eating another snickers bar. I suspect you'll get hit again. My attacks would come 20 to 30 minutes after eating chocolate. When in cycle, I have a very strict diet. I've found I can prevent 90+% of attacks if I stick to it. Drawback is I drop weight like you wouldn't believe. Thinking I lost 5+ pounds a week the last time a cycle slipped in, which isn't healthy either, but a lot better than the number and intensity of attacks I would normally get. PFW, J
