He’s taking NOW supplements found on Amazon. At first they just helped the severity but after a week or two of taking they helped the frequency and he’s been able to go the two weeks I just mentioned. Overall he’s been taking about a month.4 points

Thank you for everything about this post -- the very act of posting it, of course, but also the nice clarity about context and specifically what your finance is taking! If you put Boswellia into the search bar (top right of every page), you'll see some other related discussions that might be valuable.4 points

My fiancé has recently had great success with boswellia serrata. He has been suffering for 4 years and usually has 2-3 attacks a day chronically, sometimes more. However, this has been two weeks with only one head ache day - which came after he forgot to take the pills. I wanted to come on and share as we’ve both found this site so helpful! Busting didn’t work for him, although we may not have tried high enough doses, and he’s has tried a few different medicines. I am just hoping this success continues as things have worked short term in the past and then stopped working, although never this well. He is taking 3 pills a day, 1 in the morning, 1 at noon and 1 at night - each 500mg.2 points

@xBoss Part of my family has left, and I know what you are talking about. Our real last name is chopped off. My dad has my family member taped mentioning our true last name. He was paranoid b/c of spies and feared that they would think he was defecting (he wasn't). As far as cost, it is worth it. I'm trying to find the money. Those who came from families that escaped the iron curtain know what is going on. My sister is in Europe, they are making accommodations. Some family is already there. It is a process. 3 generations and already heading back, damn. I used to be semi-fluent in French (useless) and could speak some Slavic (useless). I attempted Italian. I need to stop the useless languages and learn Russian, Polish, and Ukraine. @BoscoPikoI think that you are on to something. I do recall seeing anecdotal information about what you inquired about. Let me look into this. I do believe I saw a strong European heritage connection. Great idea!2 points

Not sure why but this makes me wonder what other people's heritages are (by other people I mean other C-heads). I wonder if one heritage is afflicted more than another? Maybe a study has been done on this as it seems relevant. I suppose it doesn't matter that much as knowing won't make the s-show disappear for any of us.. Just my curiosity. I am Native American (Pascua Yaqui) and have no family I know of that was ever afflicted nor know of any other feathers that have it..2 points

Jeebs, I have decided to avoid ALL of Amazon's 'favorites'. They are a crock and most of what I have returned to them was from their 'favorites' list. Best toaster!!!! Did not work. At all. That was my last time trusting their favs! Just BS.1 point

That three month adjustment in your work schedule will be a great help!! Mentally being hit all night and going to work is incredibly hard. Nocturnal here too. Really hard to maintain a house, job, etc for months Do they allow O2 at home for you in The Netherlands? Laws are so different in different places! Have you considered Busting? If you want to discuss that, start a thread on a closed board - Theory & Implementation or Share Your Busting Stories. You live in a darn good place for it. Also, what meds do you take for your CH? Often we get on so many and are hesitant to drop one when we are still in non-stop 'hitsville', even though it is obvious that they are not working.1 point

Ah, thanks - I got some Boswellia at one point, but got suckered by the high Amazon ratings of another brand, even though I've trusted NOW brand for a long time. Of course when I received my bottle from the other brand it had a prominent sticker attached offering a FREE extra bottle if you give them a great review. To me that explained their high customer rating, and it instantly dashed my confidence as I sat there holding that jumbo bottle of buyer's remorse in one hand, face palming with the other.1 point

I am curious. Do the people on here see this phenomenon of CHA as being autoimmune? Or definitely not? Just curious. Thanking you for your thoughts and views.1 point

This is an interesting topic. I really do not know the reason for CH. I do not think there is any correlation between the 2. I also read that it is hereditary. No one in my family(literally no one) suffers from any kind of headaches. But then again, the D3 regimen works so well for some which is an over all immune builder. I am a very healthy 29 year old female, and I have chronic CH. the news hit me like a ton of bricks1 point

....before i knew a single thing about CH...including the long delayed diagnosis... it was my belief that there was (and is) a connection between these damn headaches and my decidedly compromised immune system. these included multiple autoimmune ailments along with constantly evolving food and environmental allergies/intolerances.. .... and though formerly known as "histamine headache", i think CH it has got to be far beyond just histamine etiology...this proven to me in my own treatment over the years where the most powerful antihistamines (script and otc) had virtually zero effect on my CH. seems there is far more going on than a direct relationship between the two. that said, diphenhydramine has been most helpful for a number of clusterheads....but then, it has effects beyond antihistamine including sleep and probably anti inflammatory, et al... ....measures like the D3 regimen, that have a direct effect on the immune system as a whole, are helpful for many.... .... the keto diet and probiotics may be helpful in similar ways. i do not know enough about either, other than anecdotal reports of benefits...1 point

I'm I'm 3rd generation and the language is lost. My great grandparents actually hid their Russian identity and stopped passing the culture down when they moved to the USA since there was anti Russian sentiment forming. We came from Galicia which is no longer and is now Poland and Ukraine. I so wish I could move to that area or Prague or something like you mention but my girls think I'm crazy and don't want to. Plus the money would be too tight.1 point

YES - man that sounds encouraging - it's as if Florida may not turn out to be so bad for your cluster treatment after all. Well now that you're getting to this point anyway, with smoke hopefully clearing from going through the drawn out ringer from hell since relocation.1 point

Hey folks sorry for the delay it’s been a bit of a clusterfuck lately w the move/transition But I’ve finally found a doc that is comfortable w ketamine and CH. we started w nasal spray and troches, and they do infusions which I’m going to try and work in per their recommendation . They don’t advertise that they do infusions like all the money hungry places here. They recommended I do infusions to kick back the beast so it responds more to the at home ketamine. ... they are more affordable as well. Found a pharmacy that charges 1/4 the $ as I was paying before... I can breathe again wooo hooo!!!1 point

I can't disagree. Roots are beautiful just like the facets in our life. The women in the video were beautiful btw. It's neat to see all the diffrent sides of an individual (especially one afflicted with the same). I appreciate you starting this thread as anyone tired of the normal A rotation now has a plethora to choose from!1 point
